Based on Clause 2, Article 9 of Circular 27/2020/TT-BGDDT, there are regulations on summarizing educational assessment results as follows:
Summarizing educational assessment results
1. Mid-semester I, end of semester I, mid-semester II, and end of the school year:
a) Subject teachers base on the regular assessment process and the achievement levels from periodic assessments of subjects and educational activities to summarize and record the educational assessment results of each student in the Class Educational Assessment Summary Table.
b) The homeroom teacher bases on regular assessment results and the achievement levels from periodic assessments of the main qualities and core competencies of each student to summarize and record the educational assessment results of students in the Class Educational Assessment Summary Table.
2. At the end of the school year, based on the process of summarizing the assessment results of learning for each subject, educational activities, and each main quality and core competency, the homeroom teacher performs:
a) Assessing students' educational results according to four levels:
- Excellent completion: Students who achieve good results in subjects and educational activities; the qualities and competencies achieving Good level; periodic final exams results in all subjects achieve a score of 9 or higher;
- Good completion: Students who do not achieve the Excellent completion level but have good results in subjects and educational activities; the qualities and competencies achieving Good level; periodic final exams results in all subjects achieve a score of 7 or higher;
- Completion: Students who do not achieve the Excellent and Good completion levels but have good or acceptable results in subjects and educational activities; the qualities and competencies achieving Good or Acceptable level; periodic final exams results in all subjects achieve a score of 5 or higher;
- Not completed: Students who do not fall into the above categories.
b) Noting comments, summarizing educational assessment results, and recording achievements of students that are rewarded during the school year in the Student Record.
Thus, according to the above regulations, the 4 levels of assessing primary school students include:
