According to sub-item 7 of Section 1 Official Dispatch 1957/BDGDT-GDDH 2024, the regulations are as follows:
For Candidates

7. Registration and Processing of Aspirations:

b) From July 31 to 5:00 PM on August 6, 2024:
Candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of registered aspirations via online payment as guided by the Ministry of Education and Training;
c) Candidates entitled to region or entity -based priority policies must cooperate with the receving sites to review information regarding the priority regions in Appendix VI and priority subjects (if any);
Candidates must carefully read the guidance materials and follow the registration process accurately and fully; if there is any confusion regarding the declaration, or fee payment, they can contact the staff at the receving sites or the staff from the education institutions for support through the provided helpline numbers.
Thus, according to the above regulation, candidates who fall under priority policies when registering their aspirations used for admission to full-time undergraduate programs in 2024 must cooperate with the receving sites to review information regarding the priority regions in Appendix VI and priority subjects (if any).

When will candidates eligible for direct admission in Vietnam confirm their school admission?

For Candidates

8. School admission confirmation:
- For candidates who are directly admitted, from July 22, 2024, to 17:00 on July 31, 2024, candidates can confirm their school admission on the system (candidates who have confirmed enrollment will not be allowed to continue registering for aspirations, except in cases where the head of the institution permits non-school admission). If undecided on school admission, candidates can continue to register for aspirations on the system or the national public service portal just like other candidates for further admission by the institutions. If admitted, candidates will confirm school admission as per the general schedule;
- No later than 17:00 on August 27, 2024, all admitted candidates must complete online school admission confirmation for first phase on the system.
Thus, from July 22, 2024, to 17:00 on July 31, 2024, candidates eligible for direct admission will confirm their school admission on the system (those who have confirmed school admission will not be allowed to continue registering for aspirations, except in cases allowed by the head of the institution).
*Note: If undecided on school admission, candidates can continue to register for aspirations on the system or the national public service portal just like other candidates for further admission by the institutions. If admitted, candidates will confirm school admission as per the general schedule.

Candidates may not register for aspirations in programs that do not meet the necessary conditions for admission.
