1. Physical Education in schools is a compulsory subject and part of the education program at all educational levels and training degrees. It aims to equip children and students with basic motor skills and knowledge, cultivate a habit of exercising and sports to enhance health, develop physical strength, stature, and contribute to achieving comprehensive educational goals.
2. Sports activities in schools are voluntary, organized as extracurricular activities, clubs, groups, or individual activities suitable to interests, gender, age, and health. These activities aim to improve motor skills, support the objectives of Physical Education through exercise and sports competitions, and provide opportunities for students to exercise their rights to play, recreate, and develop sports talents; discover and nurture sports talents.
Physical Education in schools is a compulsory subject and part of the education program at all educational levels and training degrees. 2. Power to issue the Physical Education curriculum
a) The Minister of Education and Training has the power to issue the Physical Education curriculum for the general education program and the Physical Education content for the preschool education program;
b) Directors of parent universities, academies, and Rectors of universities are responsible for constructing, appraising, and issuing their training programs, including the Physical Education curriculum, according to the regulations of the Minister of Education and Training;
c) Rectors of colleges and intermediate schools are responsible for constructing, appraising, and issuing their training programs, including the Physical Education curriculum, according to the regulations of the head of the central state management agency on vocational education.
The Minister of Education and Training has the power to issue the Physical Education curriculum for the general education program and the Physical Education content for the preschool education program.
