On May 22, 2024, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced its expected tuition.
The 2024 Enrollment Scheme was issued together with Decision 4688/QD-DHBK in 2024 Download.
This document outlines the expected tuition for full-time undergraduate programs and the roadmap for maximum tuition for each year (if any) as follows:
- Tuition for full-time undergraduate programs at Hanoi University of Science and Technology is determined by course, major/program, based on training costs, and in compliance with State regulations.
- For students conducting school admission in 2024 (K69), the tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year is as follows:
+ Standard Programs: 24 to 30 million VND/year (depending on the major).
Standard Program tuition is specified as follows:
+ For ELITECH programs: 33 to 42 million VND/year, specifically,
+ Data Science and Artificial Intelligence programs (IT-E10) and Logistics and Supply Chain Management (EM-E14) tuition fees are 64 – 67 million VND/year;
As per the table below:
+ International Professional English Dual Degree program (FL2): 45 million VND/year (including registration fees);
+ Other international standard programs and international cooperative education programs (foreign partner institutions awarding degrees): 24 to 29 million VND/semester (TROY-BA and TROY-IT programs have 3 semesters per academic year);
**Note: Regarding the roadmap for maximum tuition for each year, tuition may be adjusted for subsequent academic years but will not exceed a 10% increase per year.
Thus, according to the proposed scheme of Hanoi University of Science and Technology for the 2024-2025 academic year, tuition may be adjusted for subsequent academic years but will not exceed a 10% increase per year.

According to Article 23 of the Regulation on Enrollment for full-time Undergraduate and College programs in Early Childhood Education promulgated under Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the responsibilities of related parties in the admissions process are as follows:

2. Responsibilities of upper secondary schools and other units assigned in charge of candidates under their management
a) Organize the review, inspection, supplementation, and update of personal information and upper secondary academic data of candidates in the sector database system;
b) Inspect data, and guide candidates to correctly declare information, including regional and priority object information;
c) Assist candidates who can not register their aspirations used for admission to full-time undergraduate programs online;
d) Support training institutions with separate enrollment plans in confirming the upper secondary academic results of candidates applying for those institutions.

Thus, schools in Vietnam shall assist candidates who can not register their aspirations used for admission to full-time undergraduate programs online.
Additionally, other units assigned to manage candidates within their jurisdiction are also responsible for providing assistance.

Under Article 19 of the Regulation on Enrollment for full-time Undergraduate and College programs in Early Childhood Education promulgated under Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, regulations for registration on the system according to the general plan are as follows:

4. Candidates express their aspirations via choices on the enrollment support system (under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training) as follows:
a) Priority order of aspirations (number 1 indicates the highest aspiration);
b) Choice of training institutions, enrollment units (institution code);
c) Choice of field, group of fields, training program (field code);
d) Choice of admissions method (method code);
dd) Choice of the exam combination (combination code) for the method based on exam results by subject/test paper, or the method based on upper secondary academic results.
5. Candidates applying for shcools under the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security shall follow the provisions of this Article and the regulations and guidance of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security.
Candidates register their aspirations used for admission to full-time undergraduate programs on the system through the choices below:
