Content of the training program:
1. The content of the training program updates knowledge and skills in implementing the tasks of preschool education for the academic year nationwide (referred to as training program content 01):
The Ministry of Education and Training shall specify each academic year the training content on the orientation, policies for developing preschool education, preschool education programs, and educational activities under the preschool education program.
2. The content of the training program updates knowledge and skills in implementing the tasks of developing preschool education according to each period of each locality (referred to as training program content 02):
The Department of Education and Training shall specify each academic year the training content on the development of preschool education in the locality, implementing the preschool education program, local education programs; coordinating with projects to implement regular training plans (if any).
3. The content of the training program for developing professional capacity to meet job position requirements, specialized knowledge, and skills (referred to as training program content 03):
Preschool teachers shall choose training modules to develop professional capacity to meet job position requirements, specialized knowledge, and skills, with the number of selected modules annually carried out as regulated in Section 2 of Chapter IV of this program. According to Section IV of the training program for preschool teachers issued by the Ministry of Education and Training attached to Circular 12/2019/TT-BGDDT, the training duration for the continuous training program for preschool teachers is as follows:
IV. IMPLEMENTATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PROGRAM
1. Implementing the continuous training program program for preschool teachers includes 03 defined training program contents in Section III of this Program.
2. Training duration:
a) Each teacher follows the continuous training program with a duration of 120 periods per academic year, including:
- Training program 01: Approximately 01 week per academic year (around 40 periods per academic year);
- Training program 02: Approximately 01 week per academic year (around 40 periods per academic year);
- Training program 03: 01 week per academic year (40 periods per academic year);
b) Based on the requirements of the tasks and educational plans of the locality for each academic year, educational management levels can adjust the duration of training program 01 and training program 02 accordingly but must not change the duration of the mandatory continuous training program per academic year of each preschool teacher (ensuring a duration of 120 periods per academic year);
c) Based on the content of training program 03, teachers select the necessary training modules that suit their personal needs annually, ensuring the duration as regulated.
3. The implementation of the continuous training program for preschool teachers is conducted annually in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training's regulations./.
