Bonuses
1. Students winning prizes in the International Olympiad subjects, international scientific and technical research competitions, and world vocational skills competitions will be rewarded as follows:
a) Gold Medal or First Prize: 55 million VND;
b) Silver Medal or Second Prize: 35 million VND;
c) Bronze Medal or Third Prize: 25 million VND;
d) Encouragement Award: 10 million VND.
2. Students winning prizes in the Asian Olympiad subjects, Asian vocational skills competitions will be rewarded as follows:
a) Gold Medal: 35 million VND;
b) Silver Medal: 25 million VND;
c) Bronze Medal: 10 million VND;
d) Encouragement Award: 8 million VND.
3. Students winning prizes in Southeast Asian vocational skills competitions will be rewarded as follows:
a) Gold Medal: 25 million VND;
b) Silver Medal: 10 million VND;
c) Bronze Medal: 8 million VND;
d) Encouragement Award: 5 million VND.
4. Students winning prizes in national competitions stipulated in Clause 1, Article 2 of this Decree will be rewarded as follows:
a) First Prize: 4 million VND;
b) Second Prize: 2 million VND;
c) Third Prize: 1 million VND.

What order is awarded to students winning a silver medal in the International Olympiad in Vietnam?
Under Article 3 of Decree 110/2020/ND-CP:
Reward Standards
1. The First-Class Labor Order shall be awarded to students achieving one of the following accomplishments:
a) Winning a continuous Gold Medal twice in the International Olympiad subjects or winning the first prize continuously twice in international scientific and technical research competitions;
b) Winning a Gold Medal in the World vocational skills competition.
2. The Second-Class Labor Order shall be awarded to students achieving one of the following accomplishments:
a) Winning a Gold Medal in the International Olympiad subjects or the first prize in international scientific and technical research competitions;
b) Winning a Silver Medal in the World vocational skills competition or a Gold Medal in the Asian vocational skills competition.
3. The Third-Class Labor Order shall be awarded to students achieving one of the following accomplishments:
a) Winning a Silver Medal in the International Olympiad subjects or the second prize in international scientific and technical research competitions or a Gold Medal in the Asian Olympiad subjects;
b) Winning a Bronze Medal in the World vocational skills competition or a Silver Medal in the Asian vocational skills competition.
4. The Diplomas of Merit from the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam shall be awarded to students achieving one of the following accomplishments:
a) Winning a Bronze Medal in the International Olympiad subjects or the third prize in international scientific and technical research competitions or a Silver Medal in the Asian Olympiad subjects;
b) Winning a Bronze Medal in the Asian vocational skills competition or a Gold Medal in the Southeast Asian vocational skills competition.
5. The Diplomas of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training or the Diplomas of Merit from the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs shall be awarded to students achieving one of the following accomplishments:
a) Winning a Bronze Medal in the Asian Olympiad subjects;
b) Winning a Silver or Bronze Medal in the Southeast Asian vocational skills competition;
c) Winning an encouragement award, fourth prize, excellent vocational skill certificate, honorary diploma (hereinafter collectively referred to as encouragement awards) in international competitions as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 2 of this Decree;
d) Winning the first, second, or third prize in national competitions as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 2 of this Decree.
6. Students achieving multiple accomplishments in a year shall be considered for the highest state-level award according to the provisions of Clauses 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this Article.
Thus, students winning a silver medal in the International Olympiad will be awarded the Third-Class Labor Order.
