- For enrollment method based on academic results, exam results for each subject (including final scores of upper secondary school subjects, test scores of upper secondary school graduation subjects, and other assessment results):

+ The combination of subjects used for admission includes at least 3 subjects suitable to the characteristics and requirements of the training program (coefficients can be calculated for each subject), including mathematics or literature;

+ A discipline or a training program may use several combinations of subjects at the same time, in which the difference between combinations can be specified when determining admission conditions;

+ Do not use more than 4 combinations of admission for one discipline or training program (except for cases where subject combinations differ only in foreign languages).

- A discipline or a training program has its own criteria for each enrollment method or selection complex:

+ The allocation of targets between methods and combinations of admission must have reasonable grounds; do not cause unfairness to candidates who choose different methods and combinations of admission;

+ The change or addition of the method or combination of admission must have reasonable grounds and roadmap; Do not reduce the target allocation rate of a method or combination used in the previous year by more than 30% (in the target structure of the sector or training program) unless such change or supplement has been announced at least 1 year before the opening of registration for recruitment.

* Responsibilities of candidates

- Thoroughly research the admission information of education and training institutions, not register aspirations for programs, disciplines, or admission methods that they do not qualify for;

- Provide complete and accurate information in the application, including personal information, regional and priority group information (if applicable), and registration aspirations; ensuring the authenticity of supporting documents;

- Agree to let the education and training institution for which they are applying use necessary information and data for the review process;

- Complete the payment of admission fees before the registration procedure ends.

* Responsibilities of upper secondary schools and other assigned units for candidates within their responsibility

- Organize the review, verification, and supplementation, and update personal information and upper secondary academic results of candidates in the industry’s database system;

- Check the data and guide candidates to fill in correct information, including regional and priority group information;

- Support the registration of aspirations for candidates who lack the conditions for online registration;

- Assist education and training institutions with separate admission plans in confirming upper secondary academic results for candidates applying.

* Responsibilities of education and training institutions

- Provide complete, correctly formatted, and verified admission information and data to the system as guided by the Ministry of Education and Training;

- Stipulate (or agree with other education and training institutions) the rate, collection method, and use of service fees for admission;

- Provide comprehensive information, consulting and guiding candidates, and ensure they do not register for ineligible programs, disciplines, or admission methods;

- Ensure the admission review process is accurate, fair, and objective; fulfilling commitments according to the published admission proposal;

- Verify information and supporting documents when candidates enroll, ensuring all admitted candidates meet the admission conditions;

- Handle complaints, complaints, denouncements related to the institution’s admission review process according to legal regulations.
