* Admission Rules:
- Each application code corresponds to one admission method.
- Applicants have the right to register for admission using multiple methods; each method allows registration of multiple preferences but will only be accepted for the highest preference listed and through one single method.
- If an applicant registers for multiple methods simultaneously, the Academy will prioritize EXAM SCORES first, TRANSCRIPTS second. If the applicant is admitted to any preference in the first method, the remaining methods will not be considered.
- Applicants may participate in multiple majors and multiple rounds but can only enroll in one single regular university major at one single university. Therefore, if applicants are accepted to another university on the Ministry of Education and Training's System, they must cancel their enrollment confirmation on the Ministry's system at that university to be eligible for admission to the Academy.
- Students must be honest and responsible for the admission information provided when registering with the school (personal information, scores, priority area, priority subjects, etc.); the Academy will conduct post-enrollment verification. If there are any errors affecting the admission result, the re-evaluation will be based on the applicant’s documents, and the issue will be handled according to regulations.

Basic Principles in University Admissions in Vietnam
Based on Article 4 of the University Admission Regulations, college admission in Early Childhood Education issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT defines three basic principles in university admissions as follows:
(1). Fairness to Candidates
- Information provision: Each candidate interested should receive complete, clear, reliable, consistent, and prompt information to make suitable decisions and best prepare for participation in admissions;
- Chances of application: No candidate should lose the opportunity to apply due to regulations unrelated to qualifications and abilities (except regulations by the Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Defense specific to defense and security fields) or due to cumbersome and costly admission processes;
- Competency assessment: Candidates must be objectively, fairly, and reliably assessed regarding their learning ability and success prospects, meeting the requirements of the program and field of study;
- Admission opportunities: Candidates must be given the highest chance of admission and the right to determine their priority preferences among the programs and fields of study they qualify for;
- Commitment fulfillment: Training institutions must fulfill commitments to candidates, provide counseling, support, resolve complaints, and protect the legitimate interests of candidates in case of risks.
(2). Equality Among Training Institutions
- Cooperation: Training institutions cooperate equally to enhance the quality and effectiveness of admissions, providing the best benefits to candidates;
- Competition: Training institutions compete honestly, fairly, and healthily in admissions in accordance with the law on competition.
(3). Transparency to Society
- Information transparency: Training institutions are responsible for publicly releasing comprehensive, clear, and prompt admission information through appropriate media for societal and state management oversight;
- Accountability: Training institutions are responsible for reporting as required by state management agencies and accountable to society through suitable forms regarding major issues causing public concern.
Are conditions for supplemental admission lower than in the first admission in Vietnam?
Based on Clause 1, Article 22 of the Regulations on University Admission, college admission in Early Childhood Education issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT stipulates as follows:
Organizing Registration and Admission in Supplemental Rounds
- Based on the admission quota and the number of successful candidates who have confirmed enrollment in the programs, the admission council of the training institution will consider and decide on supplemental admission rounds. The training institution will announce the admission plan, admission methods, and registration methods for the supplemental rounds; the admission conditions for the programs by each admission method should not be lower than the admission conditions of the previous rounds.
- Candidates who have not yet been admitted or have been admitted but have not confirmed their enrollment anywhere can register for the supplemental rounds according to the plans and guidelines of the training institution.
- At the end of each admission round, the training institution will publish on its website the admission scores (and any supplementary conditions or criteria, if applicable) for the programs by each admission method; organize for candidates to check their individual admission results; send admission notices and instructions to successful candidates for enrollment.
Thus, the admission conditions for the programs of the supplemental admission round cannot be lower than the admission conditions of the first round.
