- Multimodal text: texts that combine linguistic media with other means like symbols, diagrams, charts, images, and sounds.
- Descriptive text: texts primarily used to describe.
- Argumentative text: texts primarily used to persuade readers (listeners) of a certain issue.
- Everyday text: texts primarily used to meet daily communication needs.
- Informational text: texts primarily used to provide information.
- Expositive text: texts primarily used to introduce an object or phenomenon.
- Narrative text: texts primarily used to recount an event.
What are the compulsory texts in the Literature curriculum at the lower secondary level in Vietnam?
Under Section 4 of the Appendix of the general education program for Literature issued with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, the compulsory and optional compulsory texts include:
