(1) Writing process
Know how to write documents following steps: preparation before writing (determine the topic, purpose, collect materials); brainstorming and outlining; drafting; reviewing, editing, and drawing experience.
(2) Writing practice
- Write a composition narrating a personal experience; use a first-person narrator to share the experience and express feelings about the event.
- Write a composition retelling a legend or fairy tale.
- Write a composition describing an activity scene.
- Initially write a six-eight poem; write a passage reflecting one's feelings after reading a six-eight poem.
- Initially write an essay presenting an opinion on a phenomenon of interest: state the issue and the writer's thoughts, provide reasons and evidence to clarify their opinion.
- Initially write an expository document narrating an event.
- Write a meeting record accurately, detailing all main contents about an event or meeting.
- Summarize the main content of some simple texts read using a diagram.
