What are the 04+ sample essays showing thoughts on a proverb?

Students may refer to the following sample essays showing thoughts on a proverb:

The Proverb "Study, study more, study forever"

In life, we always face many challenges and difficulties. To overcome these challenges, we need to continually learn, accumulate knowledge and experience. The proverb "study, study more, study forever" emphasizes the critical role of learning throughout each person's life. It is a profound reminder of the importance of continuous learning and practice.

This proverb is not just advice but also a life philosophy. Learning is not confined to the years sitting in school but is a continuous process with no stopping point. In today's society, where science and technology are developing rapidly, knowledge constantly changes and updates. Therefore, if we do not proactively learn and renew ourselves, we will become outdated and fall behind in society. "study, study more, study forever" serves as motivation for each person to continuously strive, to incessantly accumulate knowledge, thus enhancing the ability to compete and develop oneself.

Furthermore, learning helps us broaden our horizons, understanding of the surrounding world. Learning is a way for us to explore new things, improve perceptions, and elevate qualities. Those who excel in learning, having profound knowledge, can not only succeed in their work but also contribute positively to the community and society.

However, "learning" here is not merely about learning theories, but also learning from practice, learning from one's own mistakes and experiences, as well as from others. Learning needs to accompany practice and experience to comprehend and apply effectively. Learning is not just about absorbing available knowledge but also discovering, finding new, creative solutions.

Besides, learning also helps us develop character and ethics. Those who know how to learn are not only proficient in their specialty but also possess good teamwork abilities, communication skills, and know how to conduct themselves. Through learning, they can enhance their intellect, broaden their vision, and set an exemplary model for the younger generation.

In summary, the proverb "study, study more, study forever" is not just a reminder but a life truth. We need to maintain a progressive attitude, a desire for learning, and self-improvement every day. Learning has no endpoint; only those who continuously learn can achieve success and sustainable development in life.

The Proverb "Practice makes perfect"

Life is never short of challenges and difficulties. To succeed, one must be persistent and strive relentlessly. The proverb "Practice makes perfect" clearly affirms the value of perseverance and effort in work. This proverb wants to remind each of us that with patience and without giving up, we will surely achieve results.

In reality, life is never easy, and success does not come quickly. Every task, whether big or small, requires perseverance and persistent effort. This proverb serves as encouragement for those who are discouraged and want to give up. Only when we refine, and persist with our goals, can we succeed. A stone, if persistently polished, will become a valuable diamond.

However, perseverance does not mean working futilely or working without a plan. Perseverance must be accompanied by intelligence and creativity. We need to know how to adjust methods, make correct choices, and constantly strive. In studying, working, or daily life, perseverance is the key that unlocks the door to success.

Therefore, "Practice makes perfect" is not just advice, but a life truth. When faced with difficulties, do not rush to give up. Be patient, strive, and you will certainly achieve your goals.
The Proverb "Together we can change the world"

In life, unity always plays an extremely important role. The proverb "Together we can change the world" is a reminder of the value of unity in society and in all work. If each person works alone, it is difficult to achieve great success, but when combining forces, we create immense strength.

Unity is strength. Each individual may have talent, but when working alone, that person can only accomplish small, limited tasks. By cooperating with others, we will have the opportunity to learn, share experiences, and work more effectively. Three trees together create immense strength, much like how three people working together can achieve a much higher result.

In society, unity also brings about strong spiritual power. When working in a group, we can support each other, overcome difficulties, and challenges in work. Thus, each person can maximize their abilities and achieve a shared success.

This proverb has significant meaning in building community and developing society. Every success requires the contribution of many individuals, and when those individuals know how to unite, they will create a strong, firm collective capable of overcoming any difficulty.
The Proverb "A man is known by the company he keeps"

Among the treasure of Vietnamese proverbs, there are many profound sayings, imparting moral and lifestyle education. One of the proverbs I am fond of is "A man is known by the company he keeps." This proverb not only reflects life's realities but also conveys meaningful lessons about choosing living environments and surrounding friends.

First, to fully understand the proverb, we need to analyze each image. "Ink" is used for writing but if accidentally touched on hands or clothes, is difficult to clean. Thus, "ink" represents negative, bad things in society, bad habits that easily lead one astray. Conversely, "light" is a source of brightness that dispels darkness, symbolizing good, pure things, bringing knowledge and morals to people. Thus, the proverb suggests that if people live in unhealthy environments, around bad things, they easily become influenced and turn bad. Conversely, if living in a positive environment with many good things, one will learn and become a useful person.

This proverb expresses an inevitable rule in life: the environment significantly affects each person's character and thoughts. If a person associates with diligent, moral, and positive friends, they will surely learn good things from them. Conversely, if exposed to lazy, degenerate, indulgent people, one is easily drawn into the wrong path. Therefore, choosing the living environment and surrounding friends is extremely important.

Practically, there are many examples proving this. Children growing up in families with a good moral foundation, well-taught by parents, usually become loving, filial, and responsible individuals. In a class, if everyone encourages and assists each other in learning, the class will progress and have solidarity. Conversely, if someone is influenced by a bad environment, living amongst deceitful, irresponsible individuals, their ethics can easily decline.

However, in reality, there are many people with strong willpower, who remain with good ethics despite living in a bad environment. Like lotus blooming from mud yet exuding fragrance, there are people who, despite difficult and deprived circumstances, maintain moral qualities, live truthfully, and strive to advance in life. These resilient individuals do not let circumstances govern them but always maintain their stance.

The proverb "A man is known by the company he keeps" is profound advice for everyone. We need to choose good living environments and friends, stay away from negative temptations to avoid being drawn into bad things. Simultaneously, each needs to cultivate resilience, not easily influenced by adverse environmental impacts.

Therefore, the proverb not only helps us understand the importance of the living environment but also reminds of the personal responsibility in character cultivation. Let us choose good things to aim for a meaningful life and become a beneficial person to society.
