Under Article 11 of the Regulation on enrollment for full-time undergraduate and college programs in Early Childhood Education issued together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT:
Enrolment scheme
1. Training institutions develop, publicize, and implement the enrolment scheme to fulfill the responsibility of explanation and commitment to candidates, state management agencies, and society. The enrolment scheme must contain sufficient information as a basis for:
a) Candidates to choose schools, training majors and programs, enrolment methods suitable to their abilities, interests, and personal conditions; prepare the conditions to participate in the enrollment process and carry out the steps according to the institution's enrollment plan;
b) State management agencies and society to supervise the implementation of legal regulations and commitments to learners by the training institution in the enrollment and training work.

What are the cases where candidates in Vietnam may reserve matriculation results?
According to Article 10 of the Regulation on enrollment for full-time undergraduate and college programs in Early Childhood Education issued together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT stipulating the reserve of matriculation results:
Reserve of matriculation results
1. Candidates who have the matriculation notice can reserve their matriculation results in the following circumstances:
a) Serving military service or joining the youth volunteer force immediately in the year of admission as per a decision or order from a competent authority;
b) Suffering from a severe illness or a serious accident preventing timely school admission with medical records and certification from a competent health authority.
2. Candidates under the provisions of clause 1 must submit a reserve application accompanied by evidence to the admitting institution. The maximum time for the reserve is determined by the training institution but must not be less than 3 years for the individuals specified at point a, clause 1 of this Article.
3. Immediately after meeting the conditions to resume studies, the person with reserved matriculation results must complete the school admission procedures as per the training institution’s regulations, providing evidence of having completed the task or having recovered. For cases as stipulated in clause 1 of this Article with a reserve period of 3 years or more, the training institution considers introducing them into pre-university schools or classes for review before formal enrollment.
According to the above regulations, candidates who have the matriculation notice can reserve their matriculation results in the following circumstances:
- Serving military service or joining the youth volunteer force immediately in the year of admission as per a decision or order from a competent authority;
- Suffering from a severe illness or a serious accident preventing timely school admission with medical records and certification from a competent health authority.
Additionally, if candidates fall within the above regulations, they must submit a reserve application accompanied by evidence to the admitting institution. Immediately after meeting the conditions to resume studies, the person with reserved matriculation results must complete the school admission procedures.
