Sample 1

Describing My Father

My father is a very special person to me. Not only is he the pillar of the family, but he also always brings me a sense of safety and love.

This year, my father is over forty, with a tall and sturdy figure. Whenever he stands beside me, I feel as if I'm being protected by a strong wall. His hair is no longer as black as it once was, with strands of silver now, yet his eyes remain bright, always full of love and kindness. His face is angular and appears stern, but when he smiles, the wrinkles on his forehead disappear, leaving a warm smile that I always cherish. My father often wears modest office attire but is always neat and tidy.

His personality is strong yet very tolerant. Though he is very strict in work and in educating his children, at home, my father is gentle and attentive. Every evening, despite being exhausted from work, he still takes the time to help me with my homework, tells me meaningful stories, or sometimes just asks about my day at school. Whenever I face difficulties, he never scolds me, but gently encourages and explains the problem clearly. I feel that my father is a great friend, always by my side, accompanying and sharing everything in life.

My father works in a large company, his work is very busy, but he always tries to make time for the family. Even though his job is stressful and sometimes requires working overtime in the evenings, he never forgets to call home to check on my mother and me. He always teaches me to study hard and persevere with my goals while also knowing how to relax and enjoy life. He loves reading and playing sports, hobbies that help him relax after tense working hours.

I greatly admire and respect my father because he has nurtured me into who I am today, teaching me valuable lessons in life. Whenever I feel tired or sad, just looking into his eyes, all my worries fade away. My father is my hero, the motivation for me to strive in my studies and life.

I will always remember what my father taught and strive to become a good child, worthy of the love he has for me.

Sample 2

Describing My Father

My father is a very special and important person in my life. He is always the first person I think of whenever I need help or face difficulties. I love my father not only because he is the family’s pillar but also because of the care and affection he shows me.

My father is not overly tall, but he has a solid and steady build. His skin is somewhat sun-kissed from working outdoors, but his eyes are very bright and especially captivating. His hair has begun to silver, but his face retains a graceful demeanor, and his smile always makes me feel warm and comforted. He often wears simple yet polite clothes. When at home, he wears t-shirts and jeans — comfortable yet neat.

His personality is strict but very affectionate. He loves the family tremendously and always puts the family first. Whenever there is an opportunity, he spends time taking me out, doing house chores together, or just sitting and talking. My father is very strict in my education, always teaching me to work hard and be persistent, but he also knows how to encourage me when I achieve good results. Even with his busy work schedule, he always sets aside some time to inquire about my life and share with me everything happening.

My father's work is quite busy. He works at a construction company and has to travel quite a bit for work. However, no matter how tiring his job is, he always tries to make time to come home for dinner with the family in the evenings. Every time he comes home, I look forward to hearing stories of his work and business trips. These stories not only teach me more about his job but also help me understand the hard work and sacrifices he makes for the family.

My father loves sports, especially football. Whenever there is an exciting match, he often watches and analyzes the strategies very profoundly. Sometimes, he also teaches me how to play football and always encourages me to exercise. Moments like these help me connect more with my father and better understand his interests.

I truly love and respect my father because he is not just a material provider but also brings warm affection to the family. He is the first teacher to teach me life values and a reliable companion on every journey. I hope to make him proud and become a person as beneficial as he is.
