The Good Behavior Award is a form for teachers to record and evaluate the positive behaviors of kindergarten children over a specific period of time to encourage and motivate good and obedient behaviors. Specifically, kindergarten students have the following tasks according to Article 34 of the Preschool Regulations issued with Circular 52/2020/TT-BGDDT:
- Politeness towards grandparents, parents, teachers, and adults; unity, love, helping friends, and younger ones.
- Actively participate in activities for nurturing, caring, and educating children suitable for their abilities and age.
- Wear neat and age-appropriate clothing that is convenient for activities at the kindergarten.
- Maintain personal hygiene; participate in maintaining cleanliness in the school and classroom according to their abilities, contributing to environmental protection.
- Follow the regulations of the kindergarten.

What are the goals of preschool education in Vietnam?
Based on Section a, Part 1 of the Preschool Program issued with Circular 17/2009/TT-BGDDT (amended by Article 1 of Circular 51/2020/TT-BGDDT), the goals of preschool education in Vietnam are as follows:
The goal of preschool education is to help children develop physically, emotionally, intellectually, aesthetically, and to form the initial elements of personality, preparing children for primary school; to develop in children psychological functions, capacities, and foundational qualities, essential life skills appropriate for their age, to awaken and maximize their potential, lay the foundation for learning in subsequent levels of education and lifelong learning.

What are requirements of preschool education in Vietnam?
Based on Section C, Part 1 of the Preschool Program issued with Circular 17/2009/TT-BGDDT (amended by Article 1 of Circular 51/2020/TT-BGDDT), the requirements of the preschool program are as follows:
Content requirements:
- Ensure scientific, age-appropriate, and developmental principles from easy to difficult; ensure continuity across ages, between kindergartens, preschools, and primary schools; unity between educational content and real life, linked to children's lives and experiences, preparing children step by step to integrate into life.
- Suitable for the psychological and physical development of children, harmonizing between nurturing, care, and education; help children develop balanced, healthy, agile bodies; provide age-appropriate life skills; teach children to respect, love, and be polite to grandparents, parents, teachers, friends; be honest, brave, confident, and natural, appreciate beauty; eager to learn and enjoy studying.
Educational method requirements:
- For preschool education, educational methods must ensure:
+ Emphasis on frequent communication, showing love and creating bonds between adults and children;
+ Pay attention to individual characteristics of children to choose suitable educational methods, creating a sense of physical and mental safety for children;
+ Create favorable conditions for children to actively engage in emotional interactions, activities with objects and play, stimulate the development of senses and psychological functions, create an educational environment close to the family setting to help children adapt to preschool.
- For kindergarten education, educational methods must ensure:
+ Create opportunities for children to experience, explore, and discover the surrounding environment in various forms, meeting the needs and interests of children with the motto "learning through play, playing to learn".
+ Emphasize innovative organization of educational environments to stimulate and provide opportunities for children to actively explore, experiment, and create in fun activity areas.
+ Harmonize group education with individual education, pay attention to the unique characteristics of each child to use appropriate educational methods.
+ Organize appropriate forms of individual, small group, and whole class activities, suitable for the class's age, each child's abilities, needs, and interests, and the practical conditions.
Assessment requirements for children's development:
Assessing children's development (including daily assessments and stage assessments) to monitor children's development, provide a basis for building and adjusting educational plans. The assessment should involve multiple methods and forms; value the progress of each child, assess children regularly through observing daily activities.
