What is the dae of the opening ceremony for the primary school students for the 2024 - 2025 school year in Vietnam?
Based on Article 1 of Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT in 2024 on the framework of the 2024-2025 school year for preschool, general education, and continuous education:
Issuing the framework for the school year 2024 - 2025 for preschool, general education, and continuous education to be applied nationwide as follows:
- Earliest school attendance should be at least one week before the opening ceremony. For first graders, the earliest should be two weeks before the opening ceremony.
2. The opening ceremony will be held on September 5, 2024.
The first semester ends before January 18, 2025, and the school year program ends before May 31, 2025.
The recognition of primary school completion and junior high school graduation must be completed before June 30, 2025.
Enrollment in initial classes must be completed before July 31, 2025.
The high school graduation exams for 2025 are scheduled to take place on June 26 and June 27, 2025.
Other national exams will be held as per regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training.
According to the framework of the school year 2024 - 2025, the opening ceremony will be held on September 5, 2024. Therefore, primary school students will inaugurate the school year on September 5, 2024.
