What are the sample short paragraphs recounting a thing about a family member that you always remember?
Below are sample short paragraphs recounting a thing about a family member that you always remember:
Sample No. 1 A deed by my grandmother that I always remember took place during those sweltering summer days. She was not only the one who cared for me since I was little but also my close friend during times when I felt weary. At that time, I was seriously ill, with a high fever for a whole week, unable to eat or drink anything. My grandmother patiently sat by my side, taking care of me with every glass of water, every spoon of porridge. Daily, she told me stories from her youth, stories full of joy but also hardship. She comforted me to eat and encouraged me to take medicine. Especially, she always told me: "I won't leave you, you are my greatest joy." Her words made me feel warm inside and recover quickly. Whenever I remember it, I feel very fortunate to have such a grandmother in my life. |

Sample No. 2 Surely everyone has beautiful memories with their father. However, for me, a deed of my father that I will never forget is the time he worked far away for a whole month. When he returned, I was studying in my room, unaware. He quietly walked in, bringing back a new backpack for me, along with a set of sports clothes that I had long desired. He said, "Now you don't have to worry about lacking anything, I've worked hard to bring you the things you need." His words made me choke with emotion and love him immensely. Though he is not one to show emotions much, through that action, I understood that he always cared about the small things in my life. He is a quiet sacrificer, and his love for me is always profound and unconditional. |
Sample No. 3 A deed by my mother that I always remember happened on a rainy day. I was then preparing for an important exam, feeling stressed and under great pressure. Seeing my weary expression, she went out to buy me a favorite milk tea. On her way back, she unfortunately got wet in the rain but did not forget to bring me the milk tea. When she stepped in, her face was soaked with rain, but her eyes lit up when she saw me studying. She just smiled, saying nothing, yet I understood that she wanted to encourage me with this small gesture. The care and support from my mother provided me with great strength. My mother's love is the greatest motivation that helps me overcome all difficulties. |
Sample No. 4 I always remember once when I was little, there was a time I fell and got a wound on my knee. My mother not only treated my wound but also hugged me tightly, comforting and soothing me. She did not let me cry for long but always said, "You have to be strong, don't be afraid, the wound will heal soon." She also taught me that in life, sometimes we have to accept pain and difficulty, but what matters is standing up and continuing forward. Her words have followed me throughout my life, and every time I face a challenge, I remember her words to confidently move on. It's a profound lesson I learned from a loving and resilient mother. |
Sample No. 5 Once, when I was in 12th grade, the pressure of studying made me feel tired and discouraged. One day, my mother saw me sitting despondently in my room, not even wanting to eat. She came over and sat next to me. She didn't speak right away but just sat quietly, comforting me. She understood my feelings since she also experienced tough moments in life. After a while, she gently said, "Don't worry too much, no matter what, I am always by your side. Do your best, but don’t forget to love yourself." Her words were like a fresh breeze blowing into my soul, making me feel relieved and find the motivation to keep trying. My mother is always the one who gives me faith and peace whenever I face challenges. |
