What are the sample descriptive paragraphs on the characteristics or activities of a favorite animal for 4th-grade students in Vietnam?

4th-grade students can refer to the following sample descriptive paragraphs on the characteristics or activities of a favorite animal:

Sample 1: Describing the Activity of a Rooster

In my home garden, there is a very majestic rooster that I named Do. Every early morning, Do crows loudly “cock-a-doodle-doo” to wake the whole household up. After crowing, Do jumps down from the tree to the yard, stretches his neck, and looks around with his black eyes observing everything. Then, Do starts foraging for food. He uses his strong legs to scratch the ground quickly, scattering small clumps of dirt around. Whenever he finds a grain of rice or a worm, Do pecks “tok, tok” very quickly and neatly. His wings, when spread out, look very beautiful with long, shiny feathers. When he encounters hens passing by, Do flaps his wings and jumps around as if to show off his majesty. Every evening, when the sun sets, Do hops onto a tree branch and curls up, ready for a good night's sleep. I love watching Do's activities and find this rooster very diligent and adorable.

Sample 2: Describing the Characteristics of a Rabbit

My family has a cute white rabbit named Bong. The rabbit has pure white fur, soft and smooth like a small cloud. Bong’s ears are long and always perked up; whenever there is a strange noise, his ears perk up like antennas. Bong's eyes are round and pink-red, always twinkling like beads. His tiny pink nose is always moving as if he is sniffing everything around. Especially, Bong has small legs but is very agile, running and jumping quickly like a tiny athlete. Bong loves munching on carrots and green vegetables the most. Whenever I bring food close, Bong jumps up joyfully and nibbles little by little. In his free time, Bong often curls up in my lap, with his limbs tucked in, looking very cute. I love Bong very much and see him as a lovable little friend in the family.

Sample 3: Describing the Characteristics of a Dog

My family raises a small dog named Milu. Milu is a fluffy-coated dog, with golden fur that shines like silk. Milu’s ears always stand up as if listening to everything around. Especially, his round, black eyes look very adorable, always shining with intelligence and playfulness. His tail is long and curved, wagging non-stop whenever I come home from school. Milu loves running and playing fetch. Whenever I throw a ball, Milu dashes like lightning to catch it and proudly brings back his prize. In my spare time, I often pet and brush Milu's fur, and he loves it, lying still with his eyes half-closed as if enjoying it. Milu is also a very smart dog, knows how to guard the house, and barks loudly whenever there’s a stranger. I love my little dog very much and consider him a close friend.

Sample 4: Describing the Activity of a Cat

My cat, Mun, is a very skillful “mouse-killer.” Whenever there’s a mouse in the house, Mun immediately changes his demeanor: his eyes widen, shining, staring intently at the mouse’s hiding spot. Mun crouches low, moving quietly on all fours, not making a sound. His ears are perked, his tail gently balancing. When he sees the mouse start to run out, Mun leaps like an arrow. He pounces swiftly towards the mouse, capturing it with his front paws. Mun holds the mouse tightly, growling softly, then uses his sharp claws to control his prey. In a blink, the mouse is subdued. Mun then brings the mouse to the door as if to show off his achievement. Every time I watch Mun catch mice, I admire his agility and skillfulness. Mun is not only lovable but also very helpful to my family!
