- Continuing to develop general competencies, language skills, literary competencies formed in elementary school with higher achievement requirements. Developing language skills with requirements: distinguishing between literary texts, argumentative texts, and informational texts; understanding both explicit and implicit content of texts; being able to write complete, coherent, logical, and process-correct narrative, descriptive, expressive, argumentative, expository, and practical texts with combined expressive methods; speaking clearly, coherently; maintaining a confident attitude, appropriate to the communicative context; listening with an appropriate attitude.
Developing literary skills with the requirement: distinguishing between genres of story, poetry, memoir, literary script, and some specific sub-genres; recognizing characteristics of literary language, identifying and analyzing the impact of formal elements and artistic techniques associated with each literary genre; recognizing expressive value, cognitive value, aesthetic value; analyzing imagery, content, and form of literary works; being able to create some products with literary characteristics.
