What are regulations on assessment of grade 6 Literature in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 5 of Circular 22/2021/TT-BGDDT:
Forms of assessment
...
- Assessment by scores
a) Teachers use scores to evaluate students' training and learning outcomes.
b) Score-based assessment is used in regular, periodic evaluations through various forms of testing, assessing students' execution of training and learning tasks, appropriate to the characteristics of the subject.
- Assessment forms for subjects
a) Qualitative assessment for subjects: Physical Education, Arts, Music, Fine Arts, Local Educational Content, Experiential Activities, and Career Guidance. Learning outcomes for these subjects are assessed as either Achieved or Not Achieved.
b) Qualitative assessment combined with score-based assessment for subjects in the General Education Program, except for the subjects specified in point a of this clause. Learning outcomes for subjects are assessed on a 10-point scale. If a different scale is used, it must be converted to the 10-point scale. The score is an integer or a decimal rounded to one decimal place.
Therefore, except for subjects like Physical Education, Arts, Music, Fine Arts, Local Educational Content, Experiential Activities, and Career Guidance, which are assessed qualitatively, other subjects are assessed using a combination of qualitative and score-based assessments.
Thus, grade 6 Literature will be assessed using a combination of qualitative assessment and score-based assessment.

- All subjects assessed qualitatively are rated Achieved.
- All subjects assessed qualitatively combined with scores have DTBmhk and DTBmcn of 6.5 points or higher, with at least 06 subjects having DTBmhk and DTBmcn of 8.0 points or higher.
Fair Level:
- All subjects assessed qualitatively are rated Achieved.
- All subjects assessed qualitatively combined with scores have DTBmhk and DTBmcn of 5.0 points or higher, with at least 06 subjects having DTBmhk and DTBmcn of 6.5 points or higher.
Achieved Level:
