What are the standards for facilities of a Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education in Vietnam?
Under Clause 1, Article 28 of the Regulations on the organization and operation of a Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education issued with Circular 01/2023/TT-BGDDT, the standards for facilities of a Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education in Vietnam are stipulated as follows:
- The Center must have a location to build facilities with sufficient classrooms, desks, chairs, laboratories, a library, functional rooms, and production practice rooms to meet the educational program teaching and learning requirements.
- The Center is responsible for developing a plan and a specific roadmap submitted to competent authorities for approval to enhance investment in facilities to achieve higher standards.
- The Center is responsible for managing and using its facilities efficiently, avoiding waste; regularly planning to renovate and upgrade facilities according to regulations; and not utilizing facilities that have exceeded their lifespan and are not safe without undergoing restoration or repairs.

According to Clause 3, Article 28 of the Regulations on the organization and operation of a Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education issued with Circular 01/2023/TT-BGDDT, the standards for the library of a Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education in Vietnam are stipulated as follows:
- The Center's library is organized and operates according to the general education library standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- The library serves the learning, teaching, and scientific research activities for students, teachers, staff, and workers.
- The library is arranged in a safe, scientific, and convenient manner. Centers are encouraged to establish open libraries, create a reading space for students, and develop electronic libraries if eligible.
- Socialization in library development is encouraged.
What are the education quality assurance and accreditation activities of the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education in Vietnam?
Under Article 16 of the Regulations on the organization and operation of a Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education issued with Circular 01/2023/TT-BGDDT, the education quality assurance and accreditation activities of the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education in Vietnam include:
- Advising local CPV committees and government on planning for construction and development, striving to achieve education quality accreditation for the Center in each phase.
- Organizing self-evaluation, registering for external evaluation, and proposing the competent authority to recognize the Center as achieving education quality accreditation when the evaluation standards are ensured according to regulations.
- Based on the results of the external evaluation, supplementing, and completing the self-evaluation report; implementing the quality improvement plan in the self-evaluation report, the recommendations of the external evaluation team, and the management agency's directives. Annually, report the quality improvement results to the direct educational management agency for guidance, direction, inspection, and supervision.
- Fully preparing files, data related to the Center's activities, necessary conditions to serve the external evaluation task; and timely feedback on the draft external evaluation report.
- Maintaining and promoting education quality accreditation results to continuously improve quality.
What are the financial sources of the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education in Vietnam?
According to Article 27 of the Regulations on the organization and operation of a Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education issued with Circular 01/2023/TT-BGDDT, the financial sources of the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Education include:
- Funding from the state budget;
- Revenue from the Center's career activities, including tuition fees; revenue from independent cooperation in education, science, technology, production, business, services, and other career activities;
- Aid, sponsorships, donations, and gifts from organizations and individuals both domestically and internationally according to the law;
- Other lawful revenues.
