Recently, the examination results of the Ministry of Public Security 2024 were announced on July 18, 2024.
Currently, for the admission process of People's Public Security schools that combine the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam with the results of the Ministry of Public Security’s assessment test, the scores of the assessment test are combined with the results of the high school graduation exam in a 60-40 ratio, converted to a 30-point scale. The formula for calculating admission scores to public security schools is as follows:
Admission Score = Total score of three high school graduation subjects * 2/5 + Assessment test score * 3/5 + Priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training + Bonus points for national-level excellent students.
The schedule for announcing the cut-off scores for People's Public Security schools in 2024: Expected on August 20, 2024, based on the data exchange from the Ministry of Education and Training, People's Public Security academies and universities will announce the results of the successful candidates.

Specific health standards for new recruitment, selection of citizens into the People's Public Security, consideration of transferring to professional service for non-commissioned officers who have completed their service in the People's Public Security
1. General standards
Citizens participating in new recruitment, selection into the People's Public Security, non-commissioned officers who have completed their service in the People's Public Security and are considered for transferring to professional service are deemed to meet health standards when they meet the following criteria:
a) Health category 1 or category 2;
b) Height from 1.64m to 1.95m for men, from 1.58m to 1.80m for women, except for specific cases where height standards are reduced as stipulated in Clause 2, Clause 3 of this Article;

Citizens with health category 1 or category 2 are eligible to participate in the admission to People's Public Security schools in 2024.
What are the specific health standards for admission to People's Public Security schools in 2024 in Vietnam?
Based on Clause 2, Article 4 Circular 62/2023/TT-BCA, the specific health standards for new recruitment into People's Public Security schools in 2024 is as follows:
Citizens participating in new recruitment into the People's Public Security must meet the standards stipulated in Clause 1, Article 4 Circular 62/2023/TT-BCA and the following standards:
- Citizens applying to People's Public Security schools who are non-commissioned officers serving in the People's Public Security:
Height standards at the time of selection for service in the People's Public Security will be applied;
- Citizens applying to People's Public Security schools who are ethnic minorities: Height from 1.62m to 1.95m for men, from 1.56m to 1.80m for women.
Citizens in priority group 01 Group UT1 as per Appendix 2 Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT: Height from 1.60m to 1.95m for men, from 1.55m to 1.80m for women;
Group UT1 includes:
01 | Vietnamese citizens who are ethnic minorities residing in Area 1 for more than 18 months during their high school or intermediate study period. |
02 | Workers directly involved in production who have worked continuously for 5 years or more, with at least 2 years being recognized and awarded the provincial level or higher as outstanding soldiers. |

- War invalids, sick soldiers, people recognized as enjoying policies as war invalids; - Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, conscripted soldiers in the People's Public Security on duty for 12 months or more in Area 1; - Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, conscripted soldiers in the People's Public Security on duty for 18 months or more; - Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, conscripted soldiers in the People's Public Security who have been discharged and recognized as having completed their military service according to regulations. |

- Relatives of martyrs; - Children of war invalids, children of sick soldiers, children of those recognized as enjoying policies as war invalids with a reduction of 81% or more in working capacity; - Children of participants in the resistance who were affected by chemical toxins with a reduction of 81% or more in working capacity; - Children of Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; Children of Labour Heroes during the resistance; - Children of participants in the resistance who suffer from deformities or disabilities due to the effects of chemical toxins and are receiving monthly allowances. |
- Citizens applying to People's Public Security schools who are Vietnamese citizens with a university degree or higher from domestic or international universities:
Citizens graduating in natural sciences, engineering, computer science, information technology are applied height standards from 1.62m to 1.95m for men, from 1.56m to 1.80m for women;
- Citizens applying for cultural education at high school level who are direct applicants and selected applicants:
Height from 1.55m or more for men, from 1.50m or more for women;
Note: Citizens with multiple priority categories will only enjoy the highest priority category.
