Based on Official Dispatch 3712/BGDDT-CNTT in 2024 the guidance is as follows:
According to the Plan for Implementing University Admissions and College Admissions for Early Childhood Education in 2024 by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), candidates must complete their registration and adjust their application preferences before 5:00 PM on July 30, 2024, and pay the application fees online from July 31, 2024, to 5:00 PM on August 6, 2024.
Currently, the MOET, in cooperation with the Office of the Government of Vietnam, has prepared the infrastructure for connecting and processing online application fee payments (through the National Public Service Portal with 17 main online payment channels nationwide).
However, to ensure safety, convenience, and to avoid overloading during the online payment process, the MOET announces the schedule for candidates to make online payments on the Support System for University Admissions according to provinces/cities (where candidates have submitted their applications) as follows:
(1) From 00:00 on July 31, 2024, to 5:00 PM on August 1, 2024: Hanoi, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Yen Bai.
(2) From 00:00 on August 1, 2024, to 5:00 PM on August 2, 2024: Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong City.
(3) From 00:00 on August 2, 2024, to 5:00 PM on August 3, 2024: Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An.
(4) From 00:00 on August 3, 2024, to 5:00 PM on August 4, 2024: Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang City, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Kon Tum.
(5) From 00:00 on August 4, 2024, to 5:00 PM on August 5, 2024: Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh.
(6) From 00:00 on August 5, 2024, to 5:00 PM on August 6, 2024: Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang, Can Tho City, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau.
The online payment period for university applications in Hanoi is from July 31, 2024, to the deadline of 5:00 PM on August 1, 2024.
