1. All candidates have the right to request the re-remarking of their papers; candidates submit re-remarking applications at the place where they made the exam registration.

2. The place where candidates made the exam registration receives the re-remarking applications from candidates within 10 days from the announcement of exam results and forwards the data of candidates requesting re-remarking to the Exam Council. Within 15 days from the expiry date for receiving re-remarking applications, the Exam Council must announce and notify the re-remarking results to the candidates.

3. The re-remarking location is arranged in an area that meets the conditions as regulated in Article 31 of this Regulation.

4. Prior to handing over the papers to the Re-Marking Boards, the Secretariat performs the following tasks:

a) Search by candidate number to find the unique code for candidates' essays or answer sheets who submitted re-remarking applications; extract the exam, compare with the Receipt to verify;

b) Gather the papers needing re-remarking according to each paper/subjectt of the exam into one or multiple envelopes, clearly mark the number of papers and the number of answer sheets of each exam currently in the envelope;

c) For essay papers: Hand over the papers of candidates who submitted re-remarking applications to the Script Header Removal Board; receive the coded papers from the Script Header Removal Board and deliver to the Re-Marking Board for re-marking;

Under Article 18 of the Regulations on the High School Graduation Exam issued with Circular 24/2024/TT-BGDDT, the composition of the Re-Marking Board of the high school graduation exam is as follows:

- The composition of the Re-Marking Board is similar to that of the Marking Board as regulated in points a, b, c, d, e, g clause 1 Article 17 of the Regulations on the High School Graduation Exam issued with Circular 24/2024/TT-BGDDT. Those who participated in the Script Header Removal Board and the Written Paper Marking Board cannot join the Written Paper Re-Marking Board; those who participated in the Multiple-choice Paper Marking Board cannot join the Multiple-choice Paper Re-Marking Board.

- Written Paper Re-Marking Board: Check mistakes such as errors in totaling points, and incorrect scoring; re-grade the papers at the request of candidates.

- Multiple-choice Paper Re-Marking Board: Re-check errors in the process of handling multiple-choice papers; review technical errors; re-grade the papers at the request of candidates.
