What are the sample paragraphs about a favorite story for 4th-grade students in Vietnam?

Every good story brings us meaningful lessons and profound emotions.

Students can refer to the following sample paragraphs about a favorite story:

Sample 1:

Among the stories read in grade 4, the one I like the most is the story of "Một người chính trực". This story is about a Mandarin from the Ly dynasty named To Hien Thanh, who was famous for his integrity. Despite being offered a large bribe of gold and silver, he was not greedy, promptly refused the offer, and followed the king's instructions before his passing. Even someone who was devotedly caring and serving him without notable talent, To Hien Thanh did not recommend for a significant position. These actions demonstrate the dignity, grace, and integrity in this mandarin's conduct and lifestyle. He was not swayed by wealth or flattery from others but remained committed to right and just actions. It is this honesty and straightforwardness of his that made me love the story of "Một người chính trực" so much.

Sample 2:

Among the stories I've read, I particularly love the fairy tale "Thạch Sanh". The story revolves around the life of the brave and kind-hearted Thach Sanh. Despite having a challenging and lonely life from a young age, he always maintained a pure heart and a wealth of love. When seeing others in danger, Thach Sanh never hesitates to help. When facing a giant serpent at the shrine, he could have fled, but fearing for the villagers' safety, he risked his life to fight it. Then he encountered Princess Quynh Nga being kidnapped by a phoenix, and the son of the Water King at the bottom of the cave, he immediately provided assistance. Notably, even when doing good deeds to save people and being rewarded, Thach Sanh always refused to accept gold and jewels. His chivalrous spirit makes me both admire and respect him. What I cherish the most about Thach Sanh is that despite facing numerous dangers, and being deceived many times, he never changed and always treated everyone with a sincere heart. That is why, at the end of the story, he chose to forgive Ly Thong's mother and son. Thach Sanh has been constructed as a flawless heroic figure. Thus, no matter how many times I read it, I still find the story of Thach Sanh truly wonderful and meaningful.

Sample 3:

At home, I have many good storybooks, but my favorite is Little Red Riding Hood. The story is set in a forest where Little Red Riding Hood lives with her mother in a small house. One day, her grandmother fell ill, and her mother asked her to bring cakes to her grandmother. Her mother advised her to take the straight path and not the detour because of the dangerous wolf. However, being playful, Little Red Riding Hood forgot her mother's advice and went through the woods, where she encountered the wolf. She was deceived by the wolf to pick flowers while it went to her grandmother's house and ate her grandmother. After consuming her grandmother, the wolf dressed in her clothes and laid in bed waiting for Little Red Riding Hood to arrive to eat her too. When she arrived, the wolf swallowed her whole. Luckily, at that moment, a kind hunter passing by saw the wolf sleeping in bed and killed it, rescuing the grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood. The two were happily reunited. I like this story the most because it teaches me a meaningful lesson: to listen to my mother's advice, not to wander off, and to complete the tasks I'm given.

Sample 4:

I really love the story "Sự tích dưa hấu" and admire the intelligence of Mai An Tiem. The main content of "Sự tích dưa hấu" tells about Mai An Tiem, a quick-witted, industrious young man who was very much loved by the king. However, being young, he was arrogant, believing he was talented without needing help from anyone. The king, therefore, was angered and exiled Mai An Tiem's entire family to a deserted island. I deeply admire Mai An Tiem's cleverness and diligence. Despite being in dire circumstances, he did not lose heart. With his intelligence, he grew watermelons, which are fragrant, delicious, and sweet. His family became better off by trading watermelons for food with merchant ships. Hearing the story, the king welcomed them back. The story has inspired me and many children to live positively.
