Social activities often bring many beautiful humanitarian values. One of the social activities that I regularly participate in is supporting the Central region to overcome the consequences of natural disasters organized by our school.

Every year, the Central region has to endure storms. Although people have preventive measures such as fortifying houses, storing food, or evacuating from the storm's core area, the consequences for the people are still severe after each storm. Therefore, people across the country have directed their support towards the beloved Central region with many meaningful activities.

Among them, our school launched the activity "For the Beloved Central Region." Last weekend, the head teacher organized a meeting with class leaders. As the class president, I attended to listen and take notes on all necessary information. I then briefed my classmates during the beginning of the week's activities. The campaign will take place over one week, from Monday to Friday. We can donate clothes, food, school supplies, or a small amount of money... Class presidents will compile the donations and submit them to the school on Friday. Afterward, the teachers will organize a trip to the Central region to deliver these gifts to the people there.

Upon hearing my briefing, the class members were very supportive. I asked my mother for a small amount of money to buy some school supplies like pens, rulers, and pencil cases from the bookstore... Returning home, I also carefully packed the textbooks from the previous year that were still in good condition. My father gave me two hundred thousand dong to donate. Over a week, my classmates brought in many valuable items.

After a week of collecting donations, the school's bus of solidarity departed to deliver gifts to the people of the Central region, especially the students. I found this activity very meaningful. I will actively participate in more such activities.

Good deeds bring joy to people. We need to actively engage in meaningful social activities to spread love and receive positive things for ourselves.

The aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic has left behind much grief and loss, both spiritually and materially, for every individual in the community, especially for children who lost their families and loved ones, falling into difficult circumstances. By chance, I read articles about this information, registered to participate, and was fortunate to become a member of the "True Love" project to raise funds to support orphans and children in difficult situations due to Covid-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Knowing the strategy set by the organizing committee, I felt very excited and hoped this valuable experience would contribute my small efforts to support orphans and disadvantaged children, giving them motivation and strength for the future. Additionally, the organizing committee wishes to spread positive messages; promote the spirit of mutual respect, civility, and compassion of the Vietnamese people in general and HCMC in particular, to help and care for young people, residents affected after Covid-19, and role models of perseverance overcoming hardships; while also creating a healthy recreational platform for union members, youth, and sports, football fans domestically and internationally. The Secretary of the Vietnam Youth Union Ho Chi Minh City plans to raise funds and support at least 1,500 children and disadvantaged people in the city.

According to the organizers, the legendary team of Borussia Dortmund Club will come to Vietnam to compete with the Vietnam All Stars. The match takes place at the Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC) at 7:00 PM on September 28. After the match, the raised funds will be allocated to areas with orphaned and struggling children. At that time, voluntary students like us will accompany groups to the children's homes, encourage them, and give gifts to uplift their spirits.

Throughout the volunteer trip, I still vividly remember the image of little Tran Mai A with tear-filled eyes as she talked about the difficult time of losing both parents, living with her frail grandmother who could no longer work. Taking care of her grandmother while scavenging for scraps was too much for an eight-year-old child. The child said something that made my heart stop for a moment. She said, "I only wish my parents could come back to life." Participating in these activities, I gained many insights into the unfortunate lives in society. The Covid pandemic was extraordinarily severe and heartbreaking, taking away many strong "shoulders" of the children, which cannot be compensated for. The life of these children is really harsh and challenging. The pain they endure will likely never be forgotten.

Through this project, I also hope that I have contributed and spread happiness and motivation to comfort these children. Thanks to that action, I feel my life is worthwhile and meaningful. I hope that in the near future, I will have more opportunities to participate in many trips and charitable projects to contribute to beautifying life.
