Paragraph on Compassion

Sample 1: Compassion is a noble quality, reflecting love and the willingness to help others in difficult times. A compassionate person always knows how to empathize and share, making life better and more meaningful. In today's life, the expression of compassion can easily be seen, such as during the COVID-19 pandemic, where compassion was vividly expressed through the images of free "rice ATMs" for the poor across Vietnam. Businesspeople and citizens joined forces to create ATM machines providing rice and necessities to help those who lost their jobs and those facing difficulties during the pandemic. These actions not only offered material support but also served as a source of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating unity and love within the community. People receiving the rice were moved and felt the society's care and sharing. This simple yet meaningful action has proven that compassion has a powerful impact, making everyone, whether giver or receiver, feel cherished and valued. Therefore, compassion truly acts as a connecting bond, making society more humane and filled with good spirit.

Sample 2: In our country, there is a saying: “A torn flag covers a log - people in one country must love one another,” a valuable lesson passed down through generations. Compassion has long been a beautiful tradition of our nation, existing and developing in various forms. So, what is "compassion"? If analyzed word by word, “nhân” means person, and “ái” means love. Thus, "compassion" is the love between people. Compassion is the way people extend genuine feelings without expectation, without anticipation of reciprocation. In society, each individual is an independent entity, but compassion acts like a bridge connecting everyone’s souls, fostering human connections. From wartime, it was love that forged a united strength, aiding the nation in achieving victory and bringing independence. Today, even in peace, there are still many facing difficulties such as the elderly living alone, street children, or families affected by natural disasters and diseases. A case in point is last year's severe storms and floods in the Central region, where many families lost homes, property, and even relatives. Therefore, each of us needs to live with compassion, loving others as we love ourselves. Though it may complicate life, it is this life that holds meaning.

Sample 3: Compassion is the expression of affection and sharing between people, demonstrated through selfless acts of assistance without personal gain. It is one of the noble qualities, a thread connecting the community, bringing joy and cohesion. Compassion manifests in many forms, such as sharing hardships, providing moral support, or material aid to those in need. A typical example of compassion is the fundraising of warm clothes and study materials for highland children as the cold winter approaches. Each jacket, notebook, or pen from people in the plains has helped these children stay warm enough to go to school, feel society's care and love. It is compassion that has sown in them trust in life while spreading good values, making everyone closer, united, and willing to help each other in difficult times.
