According to subsection 3 of Section 2, Plan 6899/KH-SGDDT in 2024 regarding the organization of the Excellent Teacher Contest for Continuing Education at the city level for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the theme "Experiential Activities, Career Orientation" download, the contest is organized in Ho Chi Minh City through 2 specific rounds as follows:

Round 1: from February 17, 2025, to March 3, 2025.

Teachers develop and submit entries on initiatives and solutions contributing to improving the quality of organizing Experiential Activities, Career Orientation at the Center; the content of these activities is to be conducted according to the regulations in the High School Education Program 2018 issued with Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018, by the Ministry of Education and Training; the submissions must be certified by the Center’s leadership along with evidence of improvements in students through effective implementation of the stated initiatives and solutions.

Round 2: from March 17, 2025, to March 31, 2025.

Participating teachers will perform the following two tasks:

- Conducting an experiential activity, career orientation lesson according to the competition schedule determined by the organizing committee; the lesson will be conducted for the first time in the classroom of the hosting venue, and the teacher is not allowed to conduct a trial lesson prior. Teachers will be informed about the lesson and have time to prepare for it not exceeding 2 days before the competition date (teachers participating in the contest when practicing the lesson are not allowed to practice in their own teaching class; the practice lesson for the contest is identified by drawing lots by the organizing committee).

- Presenting a solution or initiative contributing to the improvement of the quality of teaching Experiential Activities, Career Orientation at the Center where the teacher works; the presentation time should not exceed 30 minutes, including the time for the judges' Q&A; the solution or initiative is certified by the Center’s leadership as effective and used for the first time to register for the city-level Excellent Teacher contest and has not been previously used for evaluating individual merit awards.
