What are the requirements regarding the examination content of the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills in Vietnam?
Under Clause 3, Article 5 of the Regulations on the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022, the examination content of the competition must meet the following requirements:
- Reflect the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State's laws, the rules, regulations, and provisions of the education sector concerning objectives, content, programs, teaching methods, and assessment methods;
- Reflect the distinctive characteristics of the teaching profession; demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and pedagogical competencies of educators in handling relationships: with students, colleagues; educational management staff; with the community (parents, educational institutions, manufacturing, business entities, human resource management agencies, and local authorities...);
- Reflect the current movements and emulation campaigns being deployed in the education and training sector;
- Reflect issues of higher education currently of public concern, such as: Innovation, digital transformation, international integration, high-skilled workforce training, entrepreneurship, and school culture...;
- Introduce scientific publications domestically and internationally, scientific and technological research results transferred, applied in practice, community activities, and products registered for intellectual property rights (if any) to contribute to the innovation of education quality.

What are the eligibility requirements for lecturers to participate in the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills in Vietnam?
Under Article 6 of the Regulations on the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022, the eligibility requirements for lecturers to participate in the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills in Vietnam are:
- Be a full-time lecturer at the institution according to current regulations;
- Meet the lecturer standards prescribed in current documents;
- Successfully complete all assigned tasks;
- Not subject to any legal or disciplinary actions for violations within 2 consecutive years prior to the competition;
- Fulfill the requirements for registration documents for the Competition as stated in Clause 2, Article 12 of the Regulations attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022.
What are the standards of the Head of the Sub-Board and members of the Jury Board in the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills in Vietnam?
Under Clause 1, Article 9 of the Regulations on the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022 regarding the Jury Board:
Jury Board of the Competition
1. The Jury Board (hereinafter referred to as the Panel) consists of: Head of the Panel, Head of Sub-Board, and Members, the number of members in the Panel is decided by the Head of the Organizing Committee.
a) Head of the Board: Also serves as Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee;
b) Head of Sub-Board and Members: Include those who meet the current lecturer standards, individuals who have won prizes in the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills, or individuals holding a Master's degree or higher, working in education and training-related fields, with good ethics, and having experience and excellent pedagogical skills. The duties and responsibilities of the Head of Sub-Board are as stipulated in Clause 9 and for Panel members as stipulated in Clause 10 of this Article.

Thus, the Head of the Sub-Board and Members of the Jury Board in the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills must meet the following standards:
- Fulfill current lecturer standards
- Be those who have won prizes in the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills or have a Master's degree or higher
- Work in education and training-related fields, with good ethics, experience, and excellent pedagogical skills.
What are the eligibility requirements for lecturers to be awarded the "Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills" title in Vietnam?
According to Article 15 of the Regulations on the National-level Competition for Selection of Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills issued by the Minister of Education and Training attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022, the following stipulations apply:
Eligibility requirements for lecturers to be awarded the "Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills" title
1. Be a member of a competition team and participate in at least one competition content by team competition.
2. Have a total competition result score as stipulated in point b, Clause 5, Article 14 of 8.0 points or higher, with no individual content score below 6.0 points;
3. Not violate the regulations of these Regulations and other current legal regulations during the competition; not during the period of authority addressing complaints, denunciations related to personal participation in the competition as stipulated by law (if any).
Thus, lecturers are awarded the "Lecturers with Excellent Pedagogical Skills" title in Vietnam when:
- Be a member of a competition team and participate in at least one examination content by team competition.
- Have a total competition result score defined at point b, Clause 5, Article 14 of the Regulations attached to Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT of 2022 of 8.0 points or higher, with no individual content score below 6.0 points.
