For subjects evaluated by both comments and scores, the semester average score (ĐTBmhk) is used to evaluate academic results for each semester, and the end-of-year average score (ĐTBmcn) is used to evaluate academic results for the entire school year.
The academic results for each semester and the entire school year are evaluated according to one of four levels: Excellent, Good, Pass, Fail.
(1) Excellent:
- All subjects evaluated by comments must be rated "Pass".- All subjects evaluated by both comments and scores must have ĐTBmhk and ĐTBmcn of 6.5 or above, with at least 6 subjects having ĐTBmhk and ĐTBmcn of 8.0 or above.
(2) Good:
- All subjects evaluated by comments must be rated "Pass".- All subjects evaluated by both comments and scores must have ĐTBmhk and ĐTBmcn of 5.0 or above, with at least 6 subjects having ĐTBmhk and ĐTBmcn of 6.5 or above.
(3) Pass:
- At most, only one subject evaluated by comments can be rated "Fail".- At least 6 subjects evaluated by both comments and scores must have ĐTBmhk and ĐTBmcn of 5.0 or above; no subject should have ĐTBmhk or ĐTBmcn below 3.5.
(4) Fail: All other cases.
In addition, if the evaluation level of the academic results for the semester or the entire school year falls two levels or more compared to the levels described in (1) and (2) due solely to the results of a single subject, then the evaluation level of the academic results for that semester or school year will be adjusted up by one level.
