What are the suggested sample drawings for the Children's Ideas Contest 2024?
Recently, on December 17, 2024, Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) in collaboration with the Department of Primary Education - Ministry of Education and Training, continued to organize the 15th Children's Ideas Contest for primary school students across the country.
The theme for the 15th Children's Ideas Contest for the 2024-2025 academic year is "Ideas for a Better Life".
Participants will go through two challenge rounds, including:
(1) Formulating and Demonstrating Ideas through Drawing
(2) Creating Models and Presenting Ideas Demonstrated through Models.
In the first round, using their rich imagination and art skills, the children will portray their ideas and inventions through drawings and submit them to the organizers. The 250 best drawings illustrating ideas will be selected by the organizers for assessment.
After the assessment, the organizers will select the top 30 ideas to proceed to the second round "Creating Models and Presentations". In this round, with the support of teachers and family, the participants will use available materials to turn their drawings into models. The remaining 220 ideas will receive encouragement prizes.
The award ceremony is expected to take place in March 2025.

Under Section 2 of Decision 2239/QD-TTg 2021, the objectives by 2025 of the Strategy for developing vocational education and training during the 2021-2030 period in Vietnam are as follows:
Ensure the scale and structure of training sectors and professions meet the demands for national socio-economic recovery and development; quality training of several schools to reach the level of ASEAN-4 countries, some professions to reach the level of developed countries in the region and worldwide; contribute to raising the rate of trained labor with certificates to 30%.
Some key targets:
- Attract 40 - 45% of students graduating from secondary and high schools into the vocational education and training system; female students to account for over 30% of new enrollment targets.
- Re-training and regular training for about 25% of the labor force.
- The rate of minority ethnic group labor trained in vocational education and training reaches 45%.
- The rate of disabled laborers capable of working receiving suitable vocational training reaches 35%.
- The rate of laborers possessing IT skills reaches 80%.
- At least 30% of vocational education and training institutions and 50% of key industry training programs meet quality standards.
- Strive for 100% of educators to meet standards; approximately 80% of managerial staff receive training to enhance modern management skills.
- Strive for about 80% of training industries and professions to develop and update graduation standards according to the National Qualification Framework.
- Aim for around 70 high-quality schools, including 03 schools functioning as national centers for high-quality vocational training and practice, 06 schools functioning as regional centers for high-quality vocational training and practice, 40 schools reaching the levels of ASEAN-4 countries, and 03 schools reaching the levels of developed countries in the G20 group; around 150 key industries, including 05 -10 industries with outstanding competitive capabilities in ASEAN-4 countries.
What are the funding sources for the implementation of the Strategy for developing vocational education and training during the 2021-2030 period in Vietnam?
Under Section 4 of Decision 2239/QD-TTg 2021, the funding for the implementation of the Strategy for Developing vocational education and training during the 2021-2030 period comes from the following sources:
- The annual state budget allocated according to the current state budget decentralization.
- Integrated funds from national target programs, plans, and other projects.
- Preferential foreign loans, ODA funds.
- Revenue from tuition; revenue from production, business, and service activities; joint venture operations, partnerships; leasing of public assets as per legal regulations.
- Mobilization from organizations and individuals domestically and internationally and other legal revenue, and funds as per legal regulations.
