Recently, the Minister of Education and Training issued Decision 2236/QD-BGDDT in 2024 on Mission Plans, Key Solutions for the 2024-2025 Academic Year in the Education Sector.
Pursuant to Section 2 of the Mission Plans, Key Solutions for the 2024-2025 Academic Year in the Education Sector, issued together with Decision 2236/QD-BGDDT in 2024, the missions and key solutions for the 2024-2025 Academic Year in the education sector include:
- Continuing to perfect the institutional framework, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in education.
- Ensuring fairness in access to education for all subjects, focusing on ethnic minorities, those living in mountainous areas, regions with especially difficult socio-economic conditions, coastal and island areas, orphans, children without caregivers, the disabled, and those from poor or near-poor households.
- Improving the quality of preschool, general, and continuing education.
- Developing a team of teachers, lecturers, and educational management staff, ensuring adequate quantity and improving quality to meet the requirements of educational and training reforms.
- Efficiently using state budgets and mobilizing various resources for investing in education.
- Strengthening political, ideological, national defense security education, as well as physical education and school healthcare.
- Enhancing the quality of human resource training, especially high-quality human resources associated with scientific research and innovation.
- Promoting international integration in education.
- Promoting digital transformation and administrative reform across the sector.
- Strengthening inspection, supervision, and handling of violations in the field of education and training.

Pursuant to Section 2 of the Mission Plans, Key Solutions for the 2024-2025 Academic Year in the Education Sector issued together with Decision 236/QD-BGDDT in 2024 Download, the plan to strengthen physical education and school healthcare for the 2024-2025 Academic Year includes:
Effective implementation of physical education and school healthcare, ensuring school safety, and preventing diseases and accidents.
Enhancing the organization of meals ensuring reasonable nutrition and food safety, combined with increasing physical activities for students; improving and enhancing the school healthcare system's capacity.
Completing the database on school health and criteria for building safe, friendly, and happy schools.
Strengthening the inspection and supervision of the process of safely transporting students by school bus services, ensuring absolute safety for children and students.
Effectively organizing and implementing the "School Health Program for 2021-2025", the "School Healthcare Program in preschool and general education institutions associated with grassroots healthcare for 2021-2025"; continuing to enhance student sports activities associated with the content of physical education subjects in the general education program.
05 General Tasks for Physical Education, Sports Activities, and School Healthcare for the 2024-2025 Academic Year in Vietnam
Pursuant to Official Dispatch 4719/BGDDT-GDTC in 2024 Download, the 05 general tasks for physical education, sports activities, and school healthcare for the 2024-2025 Academic Year are as follows:
(1). Continue to innovate and improve the quality of physical education, fitness training, and sports activities for students, with particular emphasis on combining reasonable nutrition policies with appropriate physical activities for each level of education, region to ensure the comprehensive development of morals, intellect, physical fitness, and aesthetics.
(2). Direct and fully implement the content and requirements of safe schools and accident and injury prevention in educational institutions.
Enhance coordination between family - school and society to organize nurturing, caring, training, and managing preschool children, students in and outside of school ensuring safety and effectiveness; focus on preventing school health diseases, and accidents, and mental health.
(3). Continue to maintain, stabilize, and develop the student sports competition system associated with the content of the Physical Education subject in the General Education Program 2018; the Physical Education program in higher education training programs, developing swimming and encouraging traditional sports.
(4). Strengthen IT application, digital transformation (building and effectively utilizing digital learning resources, electronic lessons...) for physical education and sports activities; complete the database on school health and criteria for building safe, friendly, happy schools. Conducting inspections, supervision, and monitoring as per authority.
(5). Organize summary and evaluation of schemes and programs on physical education and school healthcare for the 2021-2025 phase; continue to propose, and advise on building in the next phase.
