Descriptive essay on a sea or island scene you have seen in person or watched in movies
Last summer, I had the opportunity to visit Co To Island with my family – a beautiful island off the coast of Quang Ninh province. The scenery here is so majestic and poetic, it remains unforgettable to me. From afar, Co To Island appears like a green jewel amidst the vast sea and sky. The sky is clear and wide, with floating white clouds drifting gently. The ocean is a clear blue, with rippling waves gently lapping on the fine white sandy shore, creating soothing rhythmic sounds. The golden sunlight stretches across the sea surface, making it shimmer like silver under the sun. The beach stretches long, curving like a soft ribbon. The pure white, smooth sand occasionally has various colored seashells scattered about. In the distance, the coconut groves sway in the breeze, their leaves rustling as if singing the song of the sea. Vibrantly colored fishing boats anchor near the shore, and occasionally a sailboat cuts through the wind, gliding swiftly across the water. Offshore, small islands rise and fall, cliffs standing tall like warriors guarding the sea and sky. Flocks of seagulls soar in the sky, sometimes swooping down to the water to catch food. In the evening, the red sun, like a fiery orb, gradually disappears beyond the horizon, painting the entire scene in a warm orange hue. Standing on the beach, listening to the waves and breathing in the fresh air, I felt at peace. This trip has made me love my homeland even more and cherish the beauty of our sea islands. I silently hope that everyone will join hands to protect the environment so that the sea remains ever blue and beautiful. |
