[2] Documents of the Student Association
Resolutions of the 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association, 2023-2028 term, and the working program of the Association and student movement of the city for the academic year 2024 - 2025.
[3] Knowledge about Ho Chi Minh City
Knowledge about the history and development of Ho Chi Minh City.
[4] General Knowledge
General knowledge in various fields.

May students voluntarily join the Vietnamese Student Association?
According to Article 5 of the Charter of the Vietnamese Student Association issued under Decision 1739/QD-BNV in 2009 Download, the membership regulations include:
- Students who are Vietnamese citizens studying at universities or colleges domestically or abroad and agree with the Association's Charter, can voluntarily join the Vietnamese Student Association.
- Officials, teachers, political, scientific, economic, social, cultural, and artistic activists with a good reputation among students and in society, both domestically and abroad, who actively contribute to the Association and voluntarily participate in the Association's activities may be admitted as honorary members of the Vietnamese Student Association.
- Those who have completed undergraduate or college education, if appointed to the Association's leadership bodies, may continue their activities within the organization.
The procedures for admitting members and the rights and obligations of honorary members are specified by the Central Secretariat of the Association.
Additionally, the organizational structure of the Vietnamese Student Association will follow Article 8 of the Charter issued with Decision 1739/QD-BNV in 2009 Download as follows:
* The organizational structure of the Association includes:
+ The Central Vietnamese Student Association.
+ Provincial and municipal Student Associations.
+ Student Associations of universities, colleges, academies, and training institutes at university and college levels.
+ Student Associations of schools with affiliated units: Union of Associations, associations, clubs, teams, and student groups.
* The establishment, merger, dissolution, and financial settlement of the Association levels are implemented according to legal regulations, the Association's Charter, and the guidelines of the Central Secretariat of the Vietnamese Student Association.
The tasks of the Executive Committee, the Secretariat of the National Parent University, Regional Universities, and the tasks of the Executive Committee of the Union Association are governed by the Central Secretariat of the Vietnamese Student Association.
Thus, students who are Vietnamese citizens studying at universities or colleges domestically or abroad and agree with the Association's Charter can voluntarily join the Vietnamese Student Association.
What is the frequency of the congress of the Vietnamese Student Sub-Association per year?
According to Article 10 of the Charter of the Vietnamese Student Association issued under Decision 1739/QD-BNV in 2009 Download, the congresses of the Student Associations at different levels are regulated as follows:
* Term of the Congress of Student Associations at all levels
+ National, provincial, centrally-governed city, National Parent University, Regional University Congress: Once every 5 years.
+ School-level and Union Association Congress: Twice every 5 years.
+ Association Congress: Once a year.
- The number of delegates for each level's Congress is decided by the Executive Committee of that level, consisting of the members of the convening Executive Committee, delegates elected by the Congress or conference of the lower level through democratic consultation, and appointed delegates (The number of appointed delegates attending the Congress shall not exceed 5% of the total convened delegates).
- Tasks of the Delegate Congress of Student Associations at all levels.
+ Summarize the tasks of the Association and student movements during the Congress term of the same-level Student Association.
+ Decide on the goals and action programs of the Association for the new term.
+ Elect the Executive Committee, and the Inspection Committee at the same level through democratic consultation.
+ Discuss and contribute to documents.
+ Agree on and vote for delegates to attend the upper-level Congress or representative conference (if any).
- The Executive Committee of Student Associations at all levels may convene a delegate conference to consolidate the Executive Committee, discuss documents for the upper-level Congress, and consult to elect delegates to attend the upper-level Student Association Congress.
The composition of the delegate conference includes the members of the convening Executive Committee and delegates elected by the lower-level Executive Committee; the number of delegates is decided by the Executive Committee convening the conference but not more than the number of delegates of the Congress term.
Thus, the congress of the Vietnamese Student Sub-Association is held once a year.
