PRACTICE LEARNING ABOUT LOCAL GEOGRAPHY
Engage in practical studies of local geography (provinces, centrally-run cities) according to the following themes:
- Geographical location, territory extent, and administrative divisions
- Present the geographical location, territory extent, and administrative divisions of provinces, centrally-run cities based on the local map, Vietnam, or Vietnam's geographic atlas and existing knowledge.
- Nature and natural resources
- Population and society
- Economy
- Utilize maps, sketches, charts, statistics, ..., to analyze some prominent characteristics about the nature, population-society, and economy of the locality.
- Collect documents, photos, statistics,... to introduce the local geography.
- Write a report introducing the local geography according to some themes.
Thus, 12th-grade students will practice learning about local geography under the Geography curriculum.
