Who are the members of the school council of a public high school in Vietnam?

According to Clause 1 Article 10 of the Charter of secondary schools, high schools, and multi-level schools, issued together with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT, the school council of a public high school consists of:

- Secretary of the Party Committee;

- Principal;

- President of the Trade Union;

- Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union;

- Representatives of professional teams, office teams;

- Representatives of local authorities, the Parents Association, and students.

In addition, the school council of a public high school has a chairman, a secretary, and members, the number of members is odd, at least 07 people, and up to 15 people. The term of the school council is 05 years.

What is the maximum number of students per class in public high schools in Vietnam?

According to Article 16 of the Charter of secondary schools, high schools, and multi-level schools, issued together with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT:

Classroom

1. Students are organized into classes. Each class has a class president and vice-presidents elected by the students or nominated by the homeroom teacher, elected by students at the beginning of each school year or semester. Each class is divided into student groups; each group has a group leader and a deputy leader nominated by the students or the homeroom teacher, elected by students in the group at the beginning of each school year or semester.

2. The activities of the class ensure democracy, self-management, and cooperation. Every student has the initiative to discuss and participate in building the plan of activities for the group and the class with the support of the teacher.

3. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee specifies the number of students in each class towards reducing the number of students per class; ensuring that each class at middle and high school levels has no more than 45 students.

4. The number of students in each specialized school class is specified in the organization and operation regulations of the specialized school.

Thus, each class in a public high school can have a maximum of 45 students.
