What are the regulations on confirmation of admission from University of Banking of Vietnam in 2024?

Pursuant to Article 21 of the University and College Admission Regulations for Early Childhood Education, issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the regulations on admission confirmation for university admission 2024 are as follows:

- The training institution sends the admission notice to admitted candidates, specifying the necessary procedures for enrollment and the enrollment methods for candidates.

- Candidates confirm their admission online on the system before enrolling at the training institution.

- For candidates who do not confirm their admission within the prescribed time:

+ If there is no legitimate reason, it is considered that the candidate declines the admission, and the training institution has the right not to admit the candidate;

+ If due to illness, accident, with certification from a district-level or higher hospital, or due to natural disasters with confirmation from the district-level or higher People's Committee, the training institution will consider admitting the candidate or reserving the admission results for future enrollment;

+ If due to mistakes or misunderstandings by the admission staff or the candidates themselves, the training institution should cooperate with the relevant individuals or organizations to review the evidence and decide on the candidate's admission or reserving the admission results for future enrollment.

- Candidates who have confirmed admission at one training institution are not allowed to participate in admission at other institutions or in supplementary admission rounds unless permitted by the training institution.

*Note: According to Official Dispatch 1957/BGDDT-GDDH 2024, the latest by 17:00 on August 27, 2024, all successful candidates must complete the online admission confirmation round 1 on the System.

When will supplementary admissions begin in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 22 of the University and College Admission Regulations for Early Childhood Education, issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the regulations on admission confirmation for university admission 2024 are as follows:

Organization of Registration and Admission for Additional Rounds

1. Based on the admission quotas and the number of admitted candidates who have confirmed their admission into the majors, training programs, the admission council of the training institution will review and decide on additional rounds of admission. The training institution will announce the admission plan, admission methods, and registration forms for additional rounds; the admission conditions for each major, training program according to each admission method but not lower than the previous admission conditions.

2. Candidates who have not been admitted or have been admitted but have not confirmed their admission anywhere can register for additional rounds according to the training institution's plan and guidance.

3. At the end of each admission round, the training institution will announce on the website the admission scores (and additional conditions, criteria if any) into the majors, training programs according to the admission methods; organize for candidates to check their admission results; send admission notices and instructions for admitted candidates to enroll.

Based on the admission quotas and the number of admitted candidates who have confirmed their admission into the majors, training programs, the admission council of the training institution will review and decide on additional rounds of admission.

The training institution will announce the admission plan, admission methods, and registration forms for additional rounds; the admission conditions for each major, training program according to each admission method but not lower than the previous admission conditions.

Are students required to undergo health checks prior to commencement of their campus life in Vietnam?

According to the provisions of Article 4 of the Regulation issued with Circular 10/2016/TT-BGDDT, the regulations are as follows:

Student Duties

1. Comply with the guidelines, policies of the Communist Party, the laws of the State, the university's regulations, and the rules of the higher education institution.

2. Study and train according to the program, educational plan of the higher education institution; actively engage in self-study, research, innovation, and ethical, lifestyle training.

3. Respect teachers, administrators, public employees, and staff of the higher education institution; unite and assist each other during the learning and training process; uphold good cultural habits within the school.

4. Preserve and protect property; act to contribute to the protection, construction, and promotion of the higher education institution's traditions.

5. Fully comply with regulations on undergoing health checkups at the beginning of the course and regular health checkups during the study period according to the higher education institution's regulations.

6. Pay tuition fees, health insurance fully and on time.

7. Participate in public labor, volunteer activities, social activities for the community appropriate to capacity and health as required by the higher education institution.

8. Obey the obligation to work for a certain period upon being assigned by the State if receiving scholarships, training expenses granted by the State or foreign sponsorship according to agreements signed with the State; otherwise, reimburse the scholarship, training costs according to Government regulations.

9. Participate in preventing corruption, cheating in learning, exams, and other student activities; promptly report to the faculty, functional departments, the head of the higher education institution, or competent authorities when detecting acts of corruption, cheating in learning, exams, or any violations of the law, internal rules by students, teachers within the higher education institution.

10. Participate in ensuring security, order, traffic safety, crime prevention, and social evils prevention within the school, family, and community.

11. Perform other related duties as prescribed by law and higher education institution regulations.

Thus, students are required to undergo health checks prior to commencement of their campus life, which is also one of the students' duties.
