Based on Article 21 of the University and College Admission Regulations for Early Childhood Education, issued together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the announcement of results and admission confirmation is regulated as follows:

- The training institution sends admission notices to successful candidates, indicating necessary procedures for admission and the method of admission.

- Candidates confirm admission online on the system before physical admission at the training institution.

- For candidates who do not confirm admission within the stipulated time:

+ If without legitimate reasons, they are considered to have declined admission, and the training institution has the right not to accept them;

+ If due to illness, accident, with certification from a district hospital or higher, or due to natural disaster with certification from the district People's Committee or higher, the training institution considers admitting the candidate or preserving the admission result for later entry;

+ If due to mistakes by the admission staff or candidates themselves, the training institution will cooperate with relevant individuals or organizations to review evidence and decide on admission or preserving the admission result for later entry.

- Candidates who have confirmed admission to one training institution are not allowed to participate in selection at another institution or in additional selection rounds, unless permitted by the training institution.

According to Decision 1139/QD-BGDDT 2024, from August 13 to 17:00 on August 17, 2024, training institutions will conduct university admissions and process applications on the system to determine the admitted application with the highest aspiration that meets the admission conditions, if any. Training institutions will announce the results for the first round by 17:00 on August 19, 2024, at the latest.

Thus, by 17:00 (5:00 PM) on August 27, 2024, candidates must confirm their first-round admission online on the system as regulated.

Candidates access the website http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/ to fill in information including ID number, login code, verification code, and then press the login button.

Step 3: Review the admission results

Each school in the candidate's list of aspirations will have only one result: Pass or Fail. The result prioritizes the candidate's top aspiration. If the candidate passes the first aspiration, it will mark “Pass” for aspiration 1 and “Fail” for all remaining aspirations. If failing the first aspiration, the system will continue to evaluate the subsequent aspirations.

Step 4: Confirm admission

Candidates with passing aspirations have the right to confirm admission. Click on the icon as shown below to confirm admission.

Step 5: Select agree to complete admission confirmation

Candidates select agree to confirm admission. This means you will not be able to enroll in another school.

Step 6: Check the admission status

After confirming admission, if you see your status as notified of admission, it means you have successfully confirmed admission and the university has received your information. Note that candidates will not be able to cancel online admission confirmation and must contact the university for processing.

When do supplemental admission open for registration in Vietnam in 2024?

Based on Article 22 of the Regulations on University and College Admission for Early Childhood Education, issued together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT:

- Based on the enrollment quota and the number of admitted candidates who have confirmed admission into various majors and training programs, the admission council of the training institution will consider and decide on admissions for supplementary rounds.

The training institution announces the supplementary admissions plan, admission methods, registration methods for supplementary admissions; admission criteria for the majors and training programs according to each admission method not lower than the previous admission round's criteria.

- Candidates who have not been admitted or who have been admitted but have not confirmed admission to any institution may register for supplementary admissions according to the training institution's plan and guidelines.

- At the end of each admission round, the training institution will announce on its website the admission scores (and additional conditions and criteria, if any) for majors and training programs according to various admission methods; organize for candidates to check their individual admission results; send admission notices and guidelines to admitted candidates for enrollment.
