What are the specific health standards for new recruitment to the Public Security Academy in Vietnam?
Based on Article 4 of Circular 62/2023/TT-BCA, the specific health standards for new recruitment to the People's Public Security Academy are as follows:
- Health categories 1 or 2;
- Height from 1.64m to 1.95m for men, from 1.58m to 1.80m for women, except for specific cases where height standards are relaxed as specified in clauses 2 and 3 of Article 4 of Circular 62/2023/TT-BCA;

- Meet specific indicators as specified in Article 6 of Circular 62/2023/TT-BCA;
- Citizens applying to the People's Public Security academies as non-commissioned officers serving in the People's Public Security: Height standards are applied at the time of recruitment for service in the People's Public Security;
- Citizens applying to the People's Public Security academies as ethnic minorities: Height from 1.62m to 1.95m for men, from 1.56m to 1.80m for women. Citizens under preferential policy group 01 UT1 in Appendix 2 of Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT: Height from 1.60m to 1.95m for men, from 1.55m to 1.80m for women;
- Citizens applying to the People's Public Security academies who are Vietnamese citizens graduated from universities domestically and internationally: Graduates in natural sciences, engineering, computer science, information technology are subject to health standards of height from 1.62m to 1.95m for men, from 1.56m to 1.80m for women;
- Citizens applying for high school cultural education under the direct recruitment and selection process: Height from 1.55m for men, from 1.50m for women;
- Citizens with multiple priority categories are entitled to the highest priority category only.
What medical examinations are required for new recruitment to the Public Security Academy in Vietnam?
