What are the policies for vocational education institutions in Vietnam?
According to Clause 1, Article 26 of the Law on Vocational Education 2014, specific regulations on policies for vocational education institutions are as follows:
- Granted land by the State or leased land, and infrastructure; enjoying credit incentives to invest in infrastructure or improve training quality;
- Tax incentives according to the provisions of tax law; tax exemption on undistributed income of the institution reinvesting in the field of vocational education; tax exemption and reduction as regulated on profits earned from products and services created from training activities;
- Tax incentives for the production, business, and services in alignment with training activities, publishing textbooks, teaching materials, producing and supplying training equipment, importing books, newspapers, documents, training equipment;
- Participating in bidding, receiving government training orders according to the provisions of the law on bidding, ordering public service delivery services using the state budget;
- Access to preferential loans from domestic and international programs and projects;
- Participating in training programs for teachers, vocational education administration staff both domestically and internationally funded by the state budget;
- Supporting investment to ensure conditions for receiving ethnic boarding high school students upon graduation into vocational training;
- Supporting the development of training in sectors and professions meeting the learning needs of workers going abroad;
- Policies encouraging private investment according to legal regulations.

People's Committees at all levels create favorable conditions for vocational education institutions in the region to carry out training activities, disseminate scientific and technical advancements, and transfer technology.
