- Integrate it into various subjects and educational activities for each class, according to the textbooks chosen by the school, in line with the cognitive abilities of students in each locality, focusing on the subjects: Literature; Civic Education; History and Geography; Arts (Music, Fine Arts); Local Education Content; Experiential Activities and Career Orientation.
- Common themes to be integrated from grade 6 to grade 9:
+ Educate on the spirit of solidarity and patriotism of the Vietnamese people in building and defending the nation through historical periods;
+ Protect sovereignty over seas and islands; protect national sovereignty, territory, and borders; rights and responsibilities of citizens in the endeavor of building and defending the Fatherland;
+ Introduce some historical events of resistance against foreign invaders; some content on protecting personal information when participating in social networks; introduce some content on preventing social evils for students; the State’s policies on beliefs and religions.
- Themes to be integrated by grade:
+ Grade 6: Introduce the history and traditions of the Vietnam People's Army and the Vietnam People's Public Security; historical sites associated with the nation’s struggles against foreign invaders; the ingenious and creative strategies of our army and people in resisting foreign invaders.
+ Grade 7: Introduce activities and images of protecting Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty; some content on protecting personal information when participating in social networks; freedom of belief and religion in accordance with the law.
+ Grade 8: Educate on national pride, self-respect, and the strength of national unity in the struggle against foreign invaders; introduce some national boundary markers; the impact of social evils on all aspects of social life; the responsibility of students to participate in preventing school violence.
+ Grade 9: The consequences of invasion wars for the Vietnamese nation; some images of economic and social development and ensuring national defense and security; introduce some songs praising the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army and the Vietnam People's Public Security; the responsibility of students to participate in building and defending the Fatherland.

- Forming a simple level of awareness regarding national defense and security, and the responsibility of students towards the task of defending the Fatherland and maintaining security, order, and social safety.
- Possessing national pride and self-respect, love for the Fatherland and compatriots, a sense of organization and discipline, the spirit of solidarity, and voluntarily complying with legal regulations.
