In each major text type, there are subtypes: literary texts include stories, poetry, plays, and signatures; argumentative texts include literary argumentation and social commentary; informational texts include explanatory and functional documents. Some pictures, such as portraits of major writers in the program; illustrations for the content and art of some major works like Nam Quoc Son Ha, Hich Tuong Si, Binh Ngo Dai Cao, Truyen Kieu, Van te Nghia si Can Giuoc, Declaration of Independence,...
Schools with the means should network, have computers, screens, and projectors; additional software for teaching Vietnamese; CDs, video clips introducing notable landscapes, historical sites of the country, hometowns of writers (for teaching explanatory texts); some animated films, films adapted from literary works or CDs, video clips recording performances from literary scripts; CDs recording music from poems chosen as teaching material or some extended reading texts, interactions, thematic talks of writers, researchers, literary critics; textbooks on Literature, literature books, and electronic literature education materials.
