Conditions regarding teachers
- Ensure sufficient number of teachers to conduct the required number of teaching hours according to the school’s teaching plan. Teachers must meet the competency standards in English and pedagogical skills suitable for the educational level as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Teachers must undergo full training to implement this Program. For teachers who have met professional standards, ongoing professional development should be regularly organized to achieve the goals, content, and teaching methods defined by the Program. Teachers should be trained in assessing and evaluating learning outcomes as well as using modern teaching equipment.
- Teachers need to be trained in assessing textbooks and teaching materials to meet the output standards specified for each educational level.
- Training and development facilities for English teachers should refer to the General Education Program for English to ensure their training and development programs align with practical requirements.
- Facilitate training for teachers to develop the skills to design appropriate continuous and periodic assessment activities that support students in developing communication skills according to the levels of the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam.
Conditions regarding facilities
- Ensure the minimum conditions of textbooks, infrastructure, and equipment as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Schools with the capability should connect to the Internet, equip computers, screens, projectors, and English teaching software; encourage the use of information technology to support English teaching.
