Pursuant to Section 3 of the Regular Training Program for teachers at general education institutions issued together with Circular 17/2019/TT-BGDDT, the regularly conducted training modules for primary school teachers fall under the Professional Development Training Program according to job position requirements (referred to as Training Program 03) and comprise 15 modules.

Module GVPT 06: Assessing and evaluating students in general education institutions oriented towards developing students' qualities and competencies

- Building Educational Environment

Module GVPT 07: Counseling and supporting students in teaching and educational activities

Module GVPT 08: Building school culture in general education institutions

Module GVPT 09: Practicing democracy in schools in general education institutions

Module GVPT 10: Implementing and building safe schools, preventing school violence in general education institutions

- Developing the Relationship between School, Family, and Society

How long is the regular training program 01 for primary school teachers in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Section IV of the Regular Training Program for teachers at general education institutions issued together with Circular 17/2019/TT-BGDDT:

IV. PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION GUIDANCE

1. The implementation of the Regular Training Program for teachers at general education institutions includes 03 training programs as specified in Section III of this Program.

2. Training Duration:

a) Each teacher at a general education institution implements the Regular Training Program with specific durations as follows:

- Training Program 01: Approximately 01 week/school year (about 40 periods/school year);

- Training Program 02: Approximately 01 week/school year (about 40 periods/school year);

- Training Program 03: 01 week/school year (40 periods/school year);

b) Based on the requirements and educational plans of the local area for each school year, educational management levels can adjust the duration of Training Program 01 and Training Program 02 as appropriate, but not the duration of Training Program 03 for each teacher at a general education institution (ensuring a duration of 120 periods/school year);

c) Based on Training Program 03, teachers at general education institutions can select the modules for professional development in accordance with their personal needs for professional quality and competence development in each year, ensuring the duration as prescribed.

3. The implementation of the Regular Training Program for teachers at general education institutions is conducted annually according to the Regular Training Regulation issued by the Minister of Education and Training./.

Thus, the duration of the regular training program 01 for primary school teachers is approximately 01 week/school year (about 40 periods/school year);

Who is the regular training program for teachers at general education institutions in Vietnam applicable to?

Pursuant to Section II of the Regular Training Program for teachers at general education institutions issued together with Circular 17/2019/TT-BGDDT, the regular training program for teachers at general education institutions is applicable to teachers currently teaching at the following schools:

- Primary schools,

- Lower secondary schools,

- Upper secondary schools, multiple-level general schools,

- Specialized schools, ethnic boarding schools, semi-boarding ethnic schools.
