Rules of the Online Contest "Youth Learning and Following the Ideology, Morality, and Style of Ho Chi Minh" in the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:

Participants:

- Group A: For general students (includes secondary school students, high school students, multi-level school students, ethnic boarding school students, ethnic semi-boarding school students, schools with boarding students, and learners at continuing education centers).

- Group B: For domestic college students and Vietnamese students studying abroad.

- Group C: For teachers, lecturers, educational management staff, youth union members, and young people (under 35 years old).

Content of the Contest:

- The life, career, and contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.

- Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh to the younger generation.

- Basic contents in President Ho Chi Minh's “Will”; the work "Mass Mobilization" and the work "Enhancing Revolutionary Ethics, Sweeping Away Individualism."

- Lessons about Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.

- Ho Chi Minh's ideology regarding Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty.

- Basic contents of professional ethics according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.

- Achievements in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland and developing the country under the leadership of the Communist Party; Basic contents of the documents of the XIII National Congress of the Communist Party.

- Basic contents of the XII National Congress of the Youth Union Document.

Contest Form - Format:

- Online multiple-choice test (from preliminary rounds to the finals) at the website: hocvalamtheobac.mobiedu.vn.

- Contestants answer multiple-choice questions, the system automatically records results, and updates at the website of the Contest.

- Contestants answer 30 questions within 10 minutes. The time starts from when contestants begin the test until they click the finish button. Each correct answer earns 10 points, wrong answers do not subtract points. The maximum score for contestants in each round is 300 points. During the contest, contestants can go back, adjust their answers, or choose to end the test at any time.

Contest Time:

- Trial test time: Begins at 09:00 on December 16, 2024, to 22:00 on December 22, 2024.

- Time for Preliminary, Semifinal, and Final rounds: From 09:00 on December 23, 2024, to March 9, 2025.

- Time for each contest round:

+ Preliminary round: From 09:00 on December 23, 2024, to 22:00 on January 19, 2025. Contest launch: Monday, December 23, 2024 (Ministry of Education and Training issues a launch document).

++ Week 1: From 09:00 on December 23, 2024, to 22:00 on December 29, 2024.

++ Week 2: From 09:00 on January 6, 2025, to 22:00 on January 12, 2025.

++ 3rd-week examination: From 09:00 on January 13, 2025, to 22:00 on January 19, 2025.

++ Announce the list of contestants for the Semifinal round at 09:00 on January 22, 2025.

+ Semifinal round: From 09:00 on February 21, 2025, to 21:00 on February 23, 2025.

Individual prizes:

- Group A: 01 first prize, 03 second prizes, 06 third prizes, and 20 encouragement prizes (each province, city selects 01 contestant).

- Group B: 01 first prize, 03 second prizes, 06 third prizes, and 20 encouragement prizes (each training institution selects 01 contestant).

- Group C: 01 first prize, 03 second prizes, 06 third prizes, and 20 encouragement prizes (each province, city selects 01 contestant).

Collective prizes:

- Quantity: 10 prizes for 10 departments of education and training and 20 prizes for 20 training institutions.

- Criteria for Collective prizes:

+ For departments of education and training with the highest student participation rate (number of contestants/total students of the province, city) and many students achieving high results in preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds.

+ For training institutions with the highest student participation rate (number of contestants/total students of the training institution) and many students achieving high results in preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds.

Individual prizes:

- First and Second prizes: Each prize receives a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training and a cash reward as per regulations.

- Third prize: Each prize receives a Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union and a cash reward from the Contest Organizing Committee.

- Encouragement prizes: Each prize receives a Certificate and a cash reward from the Contest Organizing Committee.

Collective prizes: Collective prizes receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training and cash rewards as per regulations.
