The Guidelines on Physical Education Tasks in Schools for the 2024-2025 Academic Year outlines the following general tasks:
General Task [1]: Continue to innovate and enhance the quality of physical education, physical exercise, and sports activities for students, with a particular emphasis on combining reasonable nutrition policies and appropriate exercise forms for each educational level and locality to ensure comprehensive development in morality, intellect, physical strength, and aesthetics.
General Task [2]: Direct and fully implement the contents and requirements for safe schools and accident prevention in educational institutions. Strengthen the coordination between families, schools, and society to nurture, care for, train, and manage preschool children, students both inside and outside of schools to ensure safety and effectiveness; focus on disease prevention, school hygiene, prevention of injuries, and mental health care.
General Task [3]: Maintain, stabilize, and develop the system of sports competitions for students linked to the content of the Physical Education subject in the 2018 General Education Program; the Physical Education program within higher education curriculums, develop swimming, and encourage traditional sports.
General Task [4]: Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation (building and effectively exploiting digital learning materials, electronic lectures, etc.) in physical education and sports activities (HĐTT); complete the database on school health and criteria for building a safe, friendly, and happy school environment. How to organize morning and midday exercise programs in physical education for the 2024-2025 academic year in Vietnam?
According to Subsection 1, Section 1, Part B of Official Dispatch 4719/BGDDT-GDTC 2024, specific tasks and solutions for physical education in the 2024-2025 academic year include:
- Organize and effectively implement the physical education curriculum, allocate scientifically reasonable time to enhance the quality of lessons; innovate teaching methods and evaluation methods to create interest and avoid pressure for students in participating in physical education and sports activities, approaching individualized learning suitable to the actual conditions of educational institutions.
- Organize sports activities associated with the content of physical education, diversify the contents and forms of movement, encourage proactive participation in physical training and development of health and physical fitness among students.
+ Organize morning exercises and midday exercises in accordance with age psychology and practical conditions of each school; prepare necessary conditions to gradually implement swimming classes; schools should have specific plans to organize various sports, with special attention to traditional sports and self-defense martial arts appropriate to local and educational institution conditions.
+ Enhance the organization of meals to ensure reasonable nutrition and food safety, combined with scientifically and reasonably increased physical activities.
