The inability to distinguish between reality and social media has led to the pretentious lifestyle among youths today.

An equally contributing factor to the pretentious lifestyle among the youth today is the comparison by parents and peer pressure. This creates significant psychological issues for each young person, as no one wants to be the child that their parents compare them unfavorably to, and no one wants to be left behind their peers. Instead of choosing to develop their own ethics and internal capabilities, youths today choose to live by pretentious to hide their own weaknesses.

The consequences of the pretentious lifestyle for young people today include a negative impact on personal finances, loss of personal credibility, and the abandonment of genuine relationships replaced by connections that drag each other down to the depths of life.

The pretentious lifestyle significantly affects finances because maintaining such a lifestyle requires a lot of money for things like clothing, dining in luxurious places, and renting expensive homes to claim as one's own. The result is falling into a cycle of debt with no exit.

Personal credibility and trustworthiness are also gradually lost due to this pretentious lifestyle. This is understandable because pretentious implies nothing genuine. No one will trust someone who talks about things they don't possess and that don't belong to them.

Along with the pretentious lifestyle are friendships that gradually disappear, replaced by relationships based on deceit for personal gain. The essence of friendship, which is mutual development, support through hardships, is lost.

The solution to this pretentious lifestyle lies in education from the family and society. The family is considered the first school for every person. Parents are their child's first teachers; hence, the family should be where erroneous thoughts and mindsets are corrected.

Finally, there is societal education through the law. The most noble and sacred goal of the law is education, through the strictness and firmness of the state law will educate individuals with behaviors deviating from social ethical standards.

Thus, the pretentious lifestyle of youths today is a negative lifestyle that leaves serious consequences for the youth themselves and society. Each of us must propagate the negative impact of this lifestyle to many others to eradicate the pretentious lifestyle from the society.

- The Literature curriculum focuses on training communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) as a central theme throughout all three education levels to meet the program's capacity-oriented direction and ensure coherence and continuity across all grades and levels. Fundamental, foundational knowledge about the Vietnamese language and literature is formed through activities in comprehending and creating texts; directly serving the requirement of training in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
