The Literature curriculum applies educational methods following the general direction of integrated and differentiated teaching; diversifying organizational forms, methods, and teaching tools; fostering active, independent, creative learning; and application of knowledge and skills by students.

Based on the Literature curriculum, teachers flexibly and proactively design and organize lessons according to the following orientations:

- Implementing requirements for intra-curricular integration (both knowledge and skills), interdisciplinary integration, and integrating prioritized educational content (cross-curricular); conducting differentiated teaching according to student subjects at all levels and contributing to career orientation at the high school level.

- Training students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening methods; practicing and experiencing receiving and applying Vietnamese and literary knowledge through diverse learning activities inside and outside the classroom; emphasizing the use of instructional tools, overcoming traditional read-and-write methods, fostering students' thinking, and training skills in utilizing tools.
