What are the criteria for receiving Kumho Asiana Scholarships in Vietnam?
[1] Students receiving the Kumho Asiana Scholarship during their time at university.
[2] The Kumho Asiana Scholarship is maintained when students achieve a semester GPA of 7.0 or higher (for annual curriculum) and 2.8 or higher (for credit-based curriculum), and have training results graded as "Good" or higher.
[3] Termination of the Kumho Asiana Scholarship applies when students do not meet the semester GPA or conduct rating; transfer schools; fail to submit transcripts within the stipulated time; study abroad; or defer studies for more than 02 semesters.
[4] In cases of termination of the Kumho Asiana Scholarship mentioned in section [3], it will be considered for awarding to other eligible students of the same academic year who are not receiving any other scholarships.
[5] Special cases (maintaining the scholarship for students): Students not meeting the conditions but with difficult personal circumstances (potentially affecting studies) or with a semester GPA close to the qualifying score and a good attitude towards studies may propose to the Foundation to continue receiving the scholarship. Students who qualify for a scholarship but have a poor study attitude may have their scholarship terminated and replaced with other students by proposing to the Foundation.

- Copy of admission notice for first-year students/Transcripts for students replacing recipients (certified by the school).

- Awards, certificates of achieved accomplishments (if any).

Who is eligible for academic incentive scholarships in Vietnam?
According to Clause 1, Article 8 of Decree 84/2020/ND-CP, the individuals eligible for academic incentive scholarships in Vietnam include:
- Students in specialized upper secondary schools affiliated to higher education institutions and students in specialized schools displaying excellent behavior grades, excellent learning capacity and at least 8.5 in scores of specialized subjects in the semesters in which scholarship is considered for award or achieving at least consolation prize in national, regional or international examination for gifted and talented students of the same year;
- Students in schools for artistic, athletic and sports talents displaying at least good behavior grades and average learning capacity in the semesters in which scholarship is considered for award and earning prizes or medals in national, regional or international examinations of the same year;
- Students studying in institutions for vocational education and higher education institutions displaying at least good behavior grades and studying results and not disciplined by reprimand or any severe form during the semester in which scholarship is considered for award.
What are the procedures for considering and awarding academic incentive scholarships in Vietnam?
According to Article 8 of Decree 84/2020/ND-CP, the procedures for considering and awarding scholarships in Vietnam are as follows:
Step 1: The principals shall rely on funding sources for academic incentive scholarship to determine number of scholarships for each course and major. In case number of students eligible for scholarship exceeds number of scholarships, the principals shall decide on considering and awarding scholarships;
Step 2: The principals shall rely on studying and training results of students to consider and award scholarships in a descending manner from students achieving outstanding rank;
The procedures for considering and awarding scholarship to students studying in institutions for vocational education and institutions for higher education displaying at least good behavior grades and studying results and not disciplined by reprimand or any severer form during the semester in which scholarship is considered for award:
