Criterion 1: Teacher Ethics
- Achieved: Strictly comply with the regulations on teacher ethics;
- Good: Have self-learning, self-training awareness, and strive to improve teacher ethics;
- Excellent: Be an exemplary role model in teacher ethics; share experiences and support colleagues in practicing teacher ethics.
Criterion 2: Working Style
- Achieved: Have a suitable work style and method for the work of a preschool teacher;
- Good: Have the awareness to self-train, and create a scientific work style, respecting and being close to children and their parents;
- Excellent: Be an exemplary role model in a scientific work style, respecting and being close to children and their parents; positively influence and support colleagues in forming a teacher's style.
Criterion 3: Personal Professional Development
- Good: Implement a learning and training plan suitable to personal conditions; update professional knowledge, and requirements of innovation in care and education methods and forms for children to improve care and education quality for children;
- Excellent: Share experiences, guide, and support colleagues in personal professional development.
Criterion 4: Building a Plan for Comprehensive Child Development
- Achieved: Build a care and education plan for children according to the Preschool Education Program, suitable for the developmental needs of children in the group or class;
- Good: Proactively and flexibly adjust the care and education plan towards the comprehensive development of children, suitable to the practical conditions of the school, class, and local culture;
- Excellent: Participate in developing the school education program; support colleagues in building care and education plans towards the comprehensive development of children, suitable to the practical conditions of the school, class, and local culture.
Criterion 5: Nurturing and Healthcare for Children
- Achieved: Implement nurturing and healthcare plans for children in the group or class; ensure living policies, nutrition policies, hygiene, safety, and disease prevention for children according to the Preschool Education Program;
- Good: Proactively and flexibly innovate nurturing and healthcare activities to meet the different developmental needs of children and the practical conditions of the school and class;
- Excellent: Share experiences and support colleagues in nurturing and healthcare activities to improve the physical and mental health status of children.
Criterion 6: Comprehensive Child Development Education
- Achieved: Implement educational plans in the group or class to ensure comprehensive development support for children according to the Preschool Education Program;
- Good: Proactively innovate child education methods, flexibly implement educational activities, and make suitable adjustments to meet the various needs and abilities of children and the practical conditions of the school and class;
- Excellent: Guide and support colleagues in implementing and adjusting, and innovating educational activities to improve the quality of comprehensive child development.
Criterion 7: Observing and Evaluating Child Development
- Achieved: Use observation and evaluation methods to promptly adjust care and educational activities for children;
- Good: Proactively and flexibly apply various methods, forms, and tools to objectively evaluate the development of children, thereby making suitable adjustments to care and educational plans;
- Excellent: Share and support colleagues with experiences in applying observation and evaluation methods for child development. Participate in external evaluation activities at preschool educational institutions.
Criterion 8: Group/Class Management
- Achieved: Correctly implement the requirements for child management, facility management, and group/class records management according to regulations;
- Good: Be creative in group/class management activities suitable to the practical conditions of the school and class;
- Excellent: Share good experiences and support colleagues in managing groups/classes in conformity with practical conditions.
Criterion 9: Building a Safe, Healthy, and Friendly Educational Environment
- Achieved: Strictly comply with regulations on a safe, healthy, and non-violent educational environment for children; adhere to the school's internal rules and code of conduct;
- Good: Proactively detect, promptly report, propose and implement measures to prevent risks endangering child safety, prevent and control school violence, rectify violations of internal rules and code of conduct in school;
- Excellent: Share and support colleagues in building a safe, healthy, and friendly material, cultural, and social environment for children.
Criterion 10: Implementing School Democracy Rights
- Achieved: Implement regulations on children's rights; regulations on personal, colleague, and parents or guardians of children's democratic rights according to school democratic regulations;
- Good: Propose measures to protect children's rights; promote personal, parent or guardian, and colleague democratic rights in school; detect, prevent, and propose measures to handle promptly any violations of school democratic regulations (if any);
- Excellent: Guide, support, and cooperate with colleagues in implementing regulations on children's rights; promote personal, colleague, and parent or guardian democratic rights according to school democratic regulations.
Criterion 11: Collaborating with Parents or Guardians and the Community to Improve Child Care, Education Quality
- Achieved: Build close, respectful, and cooperative relationships with parents or guardians and the community in nurturing, caring for, and educating children;
- Good: Collaborate promptly with parents or guardians and the community to improve quality activities in nurturing, healthcare, and comprehensive education development for children;
- Excellent: Share and support knowledge, skills in nurturing, caring for, and educating children for parents or guardians and the community. Propose solutions to strengthen cooperation between the school, family, and community.
Criterion 12: Collaborating with Parents or Guardians and the Community to Protect Children's Rights
- Achieved: Build close, respectful, and cooperative relationships with parents or guardians and the community in implementing regulations on children's rights;
- Good: Proactively cooperate with parents or guardians and the community to protect children's rights;
- Excellent: Share and support knowledge and skills in implementing regulations on children's rights for parents or guardians and the community.
Propose solutions to strengthen cooperation with parents or guardians and the community to protect children's rights; promptly resolve information from parents or guardians related to children's rights.
Criterion 13: Using Foreign Languages (Priority English) or Children's Ethnic Language
- Achieved: Use simple words and sentences in communication in a foreign language (priority English); or common communication in the ethnic language for ethnic minority areas;
- Good: Exchange simple information in a foreign language (priority English) related to nurturing, caring for, and educating children; or fluent communication in the ethnic language for ethnic minority areas;
- Excellent: Write and present simple paragraphs on familiar topics in a foreign language (priority English) in professional activities related to nurturing, caring for, and educating children; or proficiently use the ethnic language for ethnic minority areas.
Criterion 14: Applying Information Technology
- Achieved: Use basic application software in child care, education, and group/class management;
- Good: Develop some electronic lectures; use simple technological devices to support child care and education activities;
- Excellent: Share and support colleagues in enhancing their ability to apply information technology in child care, education activities, and group/class management.
Criterion 15: Demonstrating Artistic Ability in Child Care and Education Activities
- Achieved: Demonstrate the ability to create art, music, dance, literature, and simple art in child care and education activities in the group/class;
- Good: Creatively apply various forms of art, music, dance, literature, and simple art into child care and education activities suitable for children in preschool. Organize festival events and art activities for children in preschool;
- Excellent: Build an artistic-rich educational environment for children in groups/classes and preschools; share and support colleagues in demonstrating artistic ability in child care and education activities and building an artistic-rich educational environment for children in groups or classes and preschools.

- Meeting preschool teacher professional standards at a good level: All criteria must be at least at a good level, with a minimum of 2/3 of the criteria at an excellent level, including criteria 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 at the excellent level;
- Meeting preschool teacher professional standards at a fairly good level: All criteria must be at least at an achieved level, with a minimum of 2/3 of the criteria at a good level, including criteria 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 at a good level or above;
- Meeting preschool teacher professional standards at an achieved level: All criteria must be assessed from the achieved level or above;
- Not meeting preschool teacher professional standards: Any criterion assessed as not achieved (a criterion is assessed as not achieved when it does not meet the requirements of the achieved level for that criterion).
