5 principles for building the curriculum after the opening of the new school year 2024-2025 in Vietnam
Based on Article 2 of Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT in 2024, the following are the five principles for building the curriculum after the opening of the new school year 2024-2025:
Principle 1. The academic year schedule in local areas must ensure 35 weeks of actual teaching (18 weeks for the first semester and 17 weeks for the second semester).
Principle 2. The academic year schedule must be consistent with the characteristics and practical conditions of the locality.
Principle 3. Holidays and Tet vacation are to be observed according to the Labor Code and annual guiding documents.
Principle 4. Teacher’s annual leave is taken during the summer vacation or can be scheduled at different times in the year to suit specific characteristics and the academic year schedule of the locality.
Principle 5. The academic year schedule must ensure synchronization for all educational levels in an area, especially in schools with multiple educational levels.

Based on Article 37 of the regulations for lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools, and multi-level schools issued together with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT, the following are seven prohibited behaviors for secondary school students:
[1] Insulting the dignity, honor, or infringing upon the body of teachers, school staff, others, and other students.
[2] Cheating in learning, examinations, tests, and enrollment processes.
[3] Trading or using alcohol, beer, tobacco, narcotics, other stimulants, fireworks, and explosive substances.
[4] Using mobile phones or other devices during class that do not serve learning and without teacher permission.
[5] Fighting or disrupting order and security in schools and public places.
[6] Using or exchanging cultural products with violent or obscene content; using toys or playing games harmful to their healthy development.
[7] Students must not violate other prohibited behaviors as prescribed by law.
